"Visited Sea Shanty cafe for lunch whilst we were in Wales and we loved it. The space is huge, tables are spread out and very comfortable. Because we are in the middle of winter, the fire was going and had this lovely cosy feel to it. Food was outstanding, for starters we had hallumi fries and calamari followed by Thai pork belly and fish and chips and my son had the popcorn chicken. Everything was delicious, staff were very welcoming and everything was spot on. We are happy enough to go back again tomorrow for lunch. Also huge plus as it is dog friendly and the location is right on a beach."

"Really enjoyed our stay here! Rooms were great! Very, very clean and quite spacious. Nice TV. Could do with some accessible plug sockets by the beds but we pulled bed out a little and found a double point. Some USB points would be good to for charging. A very minor thing though. Comfy beds, nice towels, good set up. Nice bathroom, as a few have said, beware the power of the shower, it blasts out! Wish is a nice feature and very refreshing! Jacuzzi bath too, the switch to turn it on ia outside the room on the wall. Have to say, the staff were absolutely superb! From check in, to help with the golf and check out. Very impressed. Nice surrounds too, 9 hole golf course next door and some nice views. Decent little bar area and plenty of parking. Will definitley be staying again. Treaddur Bay is beautiful! Nearby activities: Treaddur bay beach is amazing, very calm. Lots of things to do. You can hire paddle boards etc from the Spa/post office. Defintley go see South Stack light house and Porth y post worth a visit too."

"Went here for dinner, it’s a nice looking place on the inside, very clean and well set up, waitress was lovely and helpful, however; that’s where the positives end. The food however was rather dreadful, the pulled pork was bland and was completely grey, which was disappointing. The salt and pepper chicken seemed to be just frozen southern fried chicken straight from the local Aldi, which luckily I like, however £8 was a bit ludicrous. We let them know that the food wasn’t great and the manager came out defensive claiming they ‘sell loads’, which was a bit of a strange thing to say. Then someone behind the bar is shouting ‘the customer said the food was bland’ for everyone to hear which was a little embarrassing. Manager was shaking his head as we were leaving, and could hear them talking about us as soon as the doors closed behind us. A bizarre experience, would definitely not recommend."

"The atmosphere was charming and we were excited to try this restaurant based on the positive reviews. Unfortunately, we may have just had bad timing as we were seated at our table and waited for 15 minutes without being given a menu or offered a drink, while neighboring tables were served promptly. It seemed like the owner, who was wearing a checked shirt, didn't even acknowledge us and didn't seem concerned when we decided to leave. We cannot recommend their lack of hospitality and are disappointed that we didn't get the chance to sample their food."
