Chans is definitely the best Chinese restaurant and takeaway in East Ham. They serve great chow mein, shredded chicken, and their egg fried rice is the best. The place is clean, if a bit small, but still comfortable.

I have been coming to this restaurant since at least 1958. No other Chinese restaurant can match the delicious and authentic cuisine they provide. Even though I moved 35 miles away many years ago, I still try to get a takeaway from Chans whenever possible.

I just wanted to mention that the takeaway food last night was of the usual high standard, with friendly and efficient service. The salt and chilli squid, pancake roll, and Singapore noodles were all delicious and delivered promptly in a nice box. Definitely the best in the area. Ver carta

Order came really nicely presented in a box, which is a first time I’ve ever received an takeaway like this. Food was really tasty and the spring rolls where the best I’ve had, will be ordering again. It's always packed and they serve amazing and authentic Chinese food! highly recommend this place

My husband John introduced me to Chan's Restaurant back in 2009. Despite being in business for many years, I must say they provide excellent service with a friendly staff. The food is always fresh, delicious, and of high quality with a wide variety on the menu. They even started offering delivery during Covid, which was a great addition to their already amazing service. I highly recommend Chan's Restaurant. Keep up the good work, Chan's!

This family-owned Chinese restaurant is the best for miles. I have been ordering from them for years and have never been disappointed with the food. The option to get the curry hotter adds a lovely kick to the already delicious flavors. The honey ribs are amazing and I highly recommend the fish in black bean sauce. The chunky and generous portion of chips are also a hit. Although prices have increased since lockdown, the food still offers great value for money. The restaurant itself is small and intimate, with super friendly staff. I haven't dined in for a while, but I always enjoy my meals from this place. Ver carta
