Must agree with earlier review hard to get good fresh food in Italy, stumbled upon this excellent restaurant on way to coloseum. Fine food n fine wine. Not cheap but attentive friendly host great service will visit again.

Was für ein wunderbarer Fund! Ausgezeichnete französische Küche in Rom! Alles was wir aßen war wunderbar: Escargot, Kartoffel-Leeksuppe, Steak, Risotto, Käse Soufle... alles lecker. So glücklich fanden wir Charly's auf Open Table!

My heart restaurant. the dishes are one more delicious than the other; as soon as you enter you will find a magical, super romantic atmosphere. I recommend it to everyone, for a couple dinner, family, or simply if you want to spend a nice evening. Ver carta

I come back after a few years to this restaurant that always had me satisfied. Unfortunately things have changed and not in the best: good onion soup, normal goulash, while the rosti is insipid (they had completely forgotten the salt.) the sweets are good. too salty account for food quality

The positive reviews lured us to this restaurant. Boy: what a deception. Expensive meals that have nothing to do with French cuisine, which I know farely good. Dry paté, onion soup with more cheese than flavour, dry chicken, ... . When we complained to the owner they answered: but we cook like this for over 40 years.... They were friendly and the wine was good but that is it. Very sad....

It was a few years since I last visit this Frenchish, cozy, little restaurant. Food is good as usual. Particularly the onion soup, the curry and the crepes. But service is too slow: 1 hour and 20 minutes between the main course and the dessert. Spent with the dirty empty dishes in front of us, since nobody came to take them away. When the delicious crepes arrive, you only long for your bed. Will not come back very soon... Ver carta
