Great food. Great service. Cannot fault anything. Dont accept card but thats understandable for small business. Coming back.

Lovely food, wide range on the menu so there's something for everyone, the food was cooked fresh and the service was excellent. Comfortable little restaurant, almost feels as if you are in someone's home with a home cooked meal.

This fantastic family-owned restaurant serves delicious, homemade food from a unique cuisine. We dined here twice during our vacation and tried their set meal, which we all loved. We only wish this restaurant was closer to our hometown so we could become regular customers! Ver carta

Outstanding food. Veggie and Child friendly. A wee gem hidden away in Aberfeldy. I have been coming on holiday here for years and never tried Checheks until a friend recommended jt. Food freshly cooked to order by a wonderful couple who looked after us all brilliantly. Bring your own beer, and it is cash or balance transfer only. Will definitely be returning. The kebabs are wonderful.

A hidden treasure! This restaurant is not located directly on the main street, but rather up a small alley, making it easy to overlook. The staff is extremely friendly and the menu offers a variety of intriguing options, making it difficult to choose. However, it didn't matter because everything we ordered was delicious. We brought our own wine and had a fantastic evening. I am confident we will return soon.

Definitely worth a visit when in Aberfeldy. Really tasty Persian food had a selection of mezeh, a peri peri chicken main and various kebabs and house salad so nice to eat something not the same old fare at local restaurants (ie. f&c, burgers, pasta etc . Checheks is off the main square in Aberfeldy, down a short alley (see photo . Don’t be put off by the ‘take away design of menu’. The Maitre’D is so helpful and really attentive (I wanted a salad without dressing and forgot to ask, but they provided a new salad anyway excellent service! Ver carta

We had dinner on February 1st at this restaurant, which had just reopened the day before after closing for a few months. As always, the food was excellent. We started with Mezeh and flatbread, which was delicious. For our main course, I had chicken kebab with saffron rice and salad, while my partner had shish kebab with salad. We also enjoyed some Turkish coffee. The owner and his assistant served us, and the owner took the time to go over the menu and offer recommendations. He was very pleasant and helpful. We highly recommend a visit here and can't wait to return.

We had takeaway and as a vegetarian it was a treat to get fulmo dolmas , such a tasty Persian meal.Had freshly prepared amazing hummus as a starter. Really enjoyed the meal but probably wouldn’t choose to eat in the restaurant. There seems to be no extraction fan in the kitchen and we left after our short wait for our takeaway smelling strongly of the food. We didn’t realise it was cash only but fortunately the owner was happy and prepared to take a bank transfer. Would suggest that being cash only is made obvious on the menus outside and social media. Food well worth it though and will be back for a takeaway.

We found this hidden gem in Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try as we were staying nearby in Kenmore. We didn’t book and arrived at around 5pm on a Wednesday evening. We were greeted by the host who was a great guy and showed us to our choice of table as we had the place to ourselves. The restaurant is very cosy and traditionally decorated with a nice atmosphere. It’s soft drinks and hot drinks only which was fine with us. We ordered hummus and breads for a sharing starter which was fantastic. The freshly cooked warm bread was delicious with the hummus being really tasty. The main courses we had mixed kebab (donner chicken and shish £15) served with chips, salad and a chilli sauce. We...
