"What can I say... probably the best vegan food weve ever eaten. PLEASE help support this local buisness, times are not easy. If your tired of just having a vegan burger and chips and want a full menu with a variety of authentic currys, unique burgers, fajitas, desserts and drinks. The smoothies are amazing and many dishes are boosted with protein to keep those macros balanced. The venue and decor itself is like stepping into a Nepalese themed chill out tent at a festival. Really sets the tone. The owners Tracy and Gary were lovely, we left feeling like we had made new friends. Great to chat too and even gave us a gift to celebrate our honeymoon. We will be returning next time we visit Lincoln, please support this buisness and grab yourself a banging family meal Updated from previous review on 2021-06-10"

Bit late posting this, but was really impressed with Shanti's takeaway service during lockdown – really quick to order and collect, the portions were enormous and the food was just as good as I remember it in the cafe itself. Thank you!

Had a fantastic meal here. There were so many choices it was hard to choose. Opted for Veg Korma and Jackfruit Masala which were delicious. Hubby also had a Tiramasu pot and a salad caramel cheesecake!! Hoping to come back again tomorrow for lunch!

really delicious eating with a Nepalese fusion thema. I had a falafel flatbread wrap 8), which was really satisfying, it was a good part. I also had the mint limonade, which was very refreshing 2). pity over the plastic cup. the menu is full vegan with many options, although some have been processed meat substitutes, I wish there were some more vegetable options (can I not read the menu well). it is a small caffe, I think it sat a 5, 3 and three 2 person tables. So book them in advance if they don't want to be disappointed, I had to take mine.

We enjoyed a delicious meal here on my birthday. When we phoned ahead no tables were available, but the window bar stools were kindly reserved for us. It's a quirky, characterful little cafe opposite the theatre, with colourful Nepalese decor and very friendly staff. The menu is extensive and service excellent. We had the banana korma and the chik'n korma which were both homecooked, very tasty and packed with fresh veggies. My tropical lassi was such a treat vegan lassis don't normally exist! Then we shared salted caramel cheesecake and had coffees with oat soya. There were also really tempting cakes on offer! We really enjoyed our visit and won't hesitate to return when we're in Lincoln.

"From the outside, it looks like another tacky eatery in a street lined with tacky takeaways. Walk through the door and pleasantly surprised. A little deli counter, a back room then a garden. The garden overlooks a derelict abandoned overgrown garden. Not a problem, I am used to this in Athens. What is the problem, and I don’t see in Athens, tenants throwing rubbish out of their windows into the garden. It is ideal breeding ground for rats. The local environmental health should investigate, and if needed carry out enforcement action. To sit outside or not? Maybe too cool when the sun went in, and too hot if it came out as no shade. I decided to sit inside, near the back door. A red rose on the table is a neat touch. I was the only diner. Oh but we were busier earlier. Strange how I am always told, if you’d have been here when you weren’t here, we were busy. The menu was singurly uninspiring. Why panini’s? Everywhere does paninis. I have never understood why. Or pasta. The choice penne (which I don’t like), or spaghetti (which I dislike slightly less) I chose spaghetti Bolognese. It arrived seemingly quick. I was asked when I placed my order, did I wish for Parmesan cheese? It was added in the kitchen. Usually brought to and added at the table. Spaghetti Bolognese is not an Italian dish. It was an artificial dish with elements of North and South. The spaghetti mediocre at best, the Bolognese sauce excellent. I was going to leave but decided to stay. I chose tiriamasiu for dessert. Coffee, Illy, no thanks. For coffee walk to Madame Waffle or Coffee Aroma. I visited a couple of weeks ago, the previous week I found closed."
