Chettinadu - Carta

Chetinadu Restaurant is a nice place first. The atmosphere and the team are warm and welcoming. I had the opportunity to taste several dishes and I am extremely happy with the quality of their service.

We are regular visitors. We like the food here. Serves good portion of main course with real Indian taste. Spring rolls were not good I would recommend this restaurant who wants to have tasty filling meal.

I have been few times to this place. The restaurant offers pretty good food with sufficient quantity. But quality is not up to the mark for the price they charge. But still a decent restaurant to try some South Indian cuisines. Ver carta

It was a lovely experience having food at this restaurant. Food was so delicious at affordable prices with enough portion. Those who look for south Indian food don't look anywhere else. Just drop in here. Tea was amazing, perfect blend of milk with tea.

There aren't that many spots doing decent Indian food in Paris, but this is one of them (and surrounded by others of them, as it happens).You can (and should) get a dosa bigger than your torso for about €7. And the cauliflower 65 is one of the best things in the whole wide world.

So, at the reception, a super nice lady. She even asked me if I wanted water because I sweat a little, which is rare today. I ordered two dosa paneer, so the sauces I didn't eat but the dosa is a real blow of heart, I think only in the indest we can do better. The waiting time is actually a little long, but it is worth the dosa I ate. Ver carta

This Sri Lankan restaurant was a welcome break from the crepes and omelette/steak/chicken with chips available everywhere. I tried the vegetarian thali and experienced flavours that I had not had before despite being half Sri Lankan. It also came with dessert for just 7 euros and the beef thali was the same quality and price. This was actually the best meal we had in Paris and also the best value for money.

My wife and I go there at least once every year. This time they clearly tried to rip us off. So, I won't ever go back there. This was not an honest mistake: they forgot to bring one item we ordered, acknowledged that they had done so, but demanded that we pay for it anyhow. We had exact change which they refused. I explained in French (their French is poor) and English (non-existent despite their claims to the contrary).

If you're looking for tasty South Indian and/or Sri Lankan cuisine then look no further! We were most impressed with the authenticity of the food and the efficient service at Chettinadu.The restaurant is packed during lunch time with South Asian patrons so you can be assured that this is one of the better restaurants in the vicinity of "Little India". The restaurant is clean and comfortable , and is certainly very good value for money. Ver carta
