We had Viand de Jour and Dorade. The Dorade with Aioli was fantastic and the Viand was ok in comparison.

one of the must go places when in la ciotat. excellent value for money and a very unexpected experience when they go there for the first time.

Even though located side-by-side to some awful looking tourist-traps, this is a fantastic restaurant with fresh food and wonderful staff. Highly recommended Ver carta

Excellent dinner, great service, super cool decor, right on the old port of La Ciotat. Definitely make reservations ahead of time during summer months. Would highly recommend!

Though the cuisine of this restaurant seems to be fresh and tasty, the owners are quite snobish and even sarcastic. It's a pity as the decoration is quite original and overall it looks comfortable, but litterally, we felt agressed by a lady who seems to think she's above her clients. Rates are also quite expensive for very small plates.

We attended this restaurant with colleagues for a nice dinner. What a lovely unassuming restaurant! The outside does not do the interior justice - there was an eclectic mix of interesting treasures adorning every free inch of the wall and ceiling. it was fantastic! The food was nice and the service was excellent! I highly recommend this place - we will be back when next in town :) Ver carta

I visited Bene twice on the same day. For lunch I had an excellent sea bass served with a very tasty lemon sauce. Followed by two scopes of really nice ice cream and an espresso, all for €15),!( exceptionally good value for money!I went back in the evening and tried the scallops. Perfectly cooked, but a tad too acidic lemon/grape sauce, and with a much higher price tag than the lunch. Still, highly recommended place!

my favorite restaurant when I am in la ciotat. first the decoration is unusual, this gives a special and pleasant atmosphere. I have always been welcome in this restaurant, even without prior booking. eating is very fresh, beautiful and a bit refined. the prices are. above the average in the opposite, but I think they are worth. last time I went there with strange friends. I usually have to translate the menu in most restaurants, but in this case the waitress did the translation and the dishes explanation directly to the English.

I must admit that the bean is a really cool place to sit and enjoy a meal or drinks on the 3 levels. I think, however, I made the wrong decisions from the menu when I ate here. the menu is only in French, but it was explained to us in English. I started with all the others was very tasty and I enjoyed mine. but the main course dropped me as I ordered the duck. I was asked if I liked it medium, rare and I asked for it to be cooked more than we do. I like mine and how I'm used to it. it came a bit rare and I had an annoyed since. we also had drinks and they, where everything was great to summarize it. I enjoyed the place but was somewhat disappointed by my individual court. there were no other... Ver carta
