My lunch at Chez Boulette, a small country restaurant went well. Despite a number of customers, the service was fast. The unique menu of the day is rather copied. Delicious intake soup, followed by country paste, duck chicken risotto and pineapple dessert. Everything was good! Menu at 25€. Too bad that restaurant tickets are not accepted and that there are a few parking spaces in front of the restaurant, the days of affluence.

If you find yourself in the Limousin area of France, book a table at this lovely restaurant in the village of Blonde. In the 'old fashioned' way, you get whatever is cooked fresh that morning. Five glorious courses for a small amount of euro - and they say France is expensive, not if you know where to eat! Usually you start with a beautiful, home made rough pate, with lots of crusty bread, this time it was followed by a rich creamy fish soup. The main was pork steaks with garlicky potatoes cooked with onions and local sweet chestnuts - delicious. In France the cheese course comes next - staying with savory. Chez boulette could best be described as 'something else'.this is a real locals place where Monsieur And Madame Boulette turn out hearty four course lunches for fourteen euros.there are no choices here. You get whatever the Boulettes are serving on any particular day.nothing is skimped on . The highlight of my lunch was the entrecôte steak( not always a good choice in France) which was very nice and some specially tasty roast potatoes.This might not be every bodies cup of tea but if you are into a quality' workmans' lunch then you will enjoy this.
