Chez Françoise - Carta

The restaurant is difficult to find. If you are an American don’t bother. The staff is rude, as is the manager. I travel to Europe and Paris frequently and the food is simply not worth the condescending attitude.

This is a very cosy French cuisine restaurant. The food was delicious and service was very good and professional. The atmosphere is a little old with a serious need of refurbishing decorations and furniture. Prices are a little steep.

Welcome to France: you will not be constantly attended to by the waiter, you may have to wait a while to order, but you will eat well, and plenty, and an hour or two later you will waddle out the door in a content food...coma from an elegant, hearty, French meal. We were looking for some place to eat near the Invalides, and this restaurant popped up on Google maps as being nearby, open, and rated highly. We almost missed it, as you have to go inside the Air France building and go down the stairs....It’s quite fancy, but surprisingly not expensive and really good!! There were or in our group, adults and teenagers, everyone enjoyed their meal. Desserts were awesome. S gorgeous.

It is a well known restaurant where you don't have to be surprised to be seated next to deputies or senators. located just below Air France's lounge and right outside Invalides train station, it is at the heart of Paris and easy to find. It...is really advised to book in advance, especially to be seated at the back terrace. What is very good is that they offer plenty of fish dishes and menu is changed regularly, if not daily.

I’ve visited the restaurant in October I was impressed by the food they served there. I had a starter, main course and desert. The starter was traditional french foi gras and it was excellent. The main course was pork meet with risotto and i...found it very tasty especially risotto, finally the desert was baked apple’s slicey with some cream which was also very good. What i did’t find so attractive was the location of the restaurant, but generally i would recommend bectof the cuisine. Ver carta

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend so we made a reservation and gave it a try. It was very difficult to find as it located on a poorly identified and lit side road attached to the lower level of the Air France...building near Invalides. I found the food and atmosphere to be just OK. The service was quite good, friendly and efficient. It is quite expensive given the average quality of the food when compared other traditional French restaurants in Paris with much better food.

I had asked for a bit of mustard to go with an exceptionally chokey dry piece of terrine de campagne and was told We have no mustard.. which was broadcast across our entire group's table. All in all, total kitsch of place. If, for...some reason, one would like to pretend that one lives in a bygone era in which the true Parisian brasserie was the heart of dining out in Paris....seek life elsewhere and not at this establishment. Had I not been required to attend a dinner at this restaurant, I too would have sought life, and much more enjoyable provisions elsewhere in Paris. Blech !

During our recent business trip to Paris, we had the joy of having Chez Franciose recommended to us and we were very happy with this restaurant. It is in the finest tradition of proper French restaurant, but the service was efficient and on two occasions...we had a full dinner in approximately hours. We can recommend the Cauliflower Cream Soup with Curry and Beetroot salad for starters. For mains, the Scallops and Tuna were excellent but the Lamb Chops were as perfect as they could be. Excellent wine list and high end spirits are also available to begin with. For dessert, the Francois-style Cream Pot is not to be missed and the ice cream selections were also spot on.
