El lugar es pequeño pero muy acogedor. La comida deliciosa, variada y porciones justas. Y la atención espectacular, sobre todo la de una mesera portuguesa con excelente español que nos asesoró muy bien con toda amabilidad y paciencia.

a great local close to the gare du nord: friendly service, excellent kitchen, very good wine, typical French atmosphere. both kalbsbries and angus steak were very well prepared, the appropriate sauces were high art. highly recommended!

Chez Michel fulfills its promise of very good classic bistro food and adds a small touch of haute cuisine on top. Dinner menu for 35€ is excellent value and there is something to fit all to be found. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. Ver carta

Great welcome! Tasty and typically French cuisine with lots of finesse. Everything is just and will be fine together. the last reviews do not reflect at all the place described (there is no aquarium in the restaurant)! I think they're wrong with michel paris 18...

Went for dinner. The menu outside offered a two course meal or a three course meal, but inside they insist you take the three courses, even if you don't want dessert. The minced rabbit appetizer was good. The Breton pot au feu was not - just boiled meat and vegetables - with a "broth" indistinguishable from lightly salted water.E61 for a meal for one (including an OK E25 bottle of Canon Fronsac). You can find much better value in this area of Paris.Not recommended.

we liked to visit this locally due to the overwhelming evaluation of the South German era and unfortunately made us a quite ambivalent other picture. we can already understand if someone wants to escape the heat of paris in the august but this should also be noted somewhere at the menu plan. without noticing two thirds of the food not to offer and the other with inferior quality left us sadly. the white wine was served with the room temperature of the august and the water was also nicely warm. my dessert had a famous name, but it really didn't taste like it. if they also like the fairytale retro ambiente then they are right here.
