"We read nice brunch reviews about a restaurant nearby “Chez Troquette” called “L’Artiste” but since it was fully booked we ended up at the “Chez Troquette”. It was a really good experience.Warm welcomed by the two waiters (I suppose as well owners and brothers) and we got a nice table by the window. We decided to have brunch there, which is served not in buffet from but it will be brought to your table in a mixed plate.It contains scrambled eggs with your choice of bacon, chicken or salmon, grilled vegetable, salad, fruit salad, fresh plain yoghurt, row ham, hard cheese, goat cheese, pan cake, mini chocolate cake, madeleine, basket of fresh baguette, butter and homemade jam accompanied by a hot drink and a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice.All the products offered were really tasteful and of high quality. Everything seems to be homemade and with love. A nice surprise was the mini chocolate cake: still warm and with a soft chocolate cream inside. The homemade jam was delicious and with a lot of fruit pieces inside. Service friendly and attentive. The only critical point the size of the table: a little bit too small to contain all the food and drinks brought.Overall a really great experience. I deeply recommend to try."

We were hungry after a walk in Per Lachaise. Good food and nice staff. Average brasserie prices. I had quite a nice piece of cod, and the burgers looked tasty.

Searching for a good, reasonably-priced restaurant on a Sunday evening can be tricky, but Chez Troquette really surprised us with quality food and friendly service.

We went in by chance with no reservation - they found nice little corner for us , the service was homey and warm , food was very tasty and prices very reasonable !! Tables are a bit too crowded .... Ver carta

Yes, that's right there's only two veget options on the menu : (1) Gnocchis de potimarron and (2) Cappucino de chataigne, but they are both exquisite. That, plus good service and very decent price (EUR 7.5 each of these dishes).

I have been here multiple times now, initially from a blog recommendation. Each time I love my meal - the first time having a smoked salmon salad, the second beef tartare and the third fondant de boeuf and all three were absolutely delicious. Prices are on the slightly more expensive side for a bistrot (coming from a student), but I think it is worth it.The atmosphere is casual and relaxed.. not sure about the music choice however can be a bit hit and miss.. I have only been here with friends so far, but would definitely take family as it is a welcoming place. The staff are really friendly, if a little slow, but this is Paris after all.
