We had a delightful reunion with friends at this restaurant, enjoying delicious food and warm service. Despite being aware of the Covid measures mentioned in previous reviews, we were not bothered by them. We all agreed that we would gladly return for another meal.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, but the excessive COVID-19 precautions like temperature checks and mandatory masks can be off-putting. There is also a bit of pressure to order duck with every course. Despite these minor annoyances, the quality of the food and the reasonable prices make it worth a visit. Excellent visit from start to finish. Polite greeting and booking confirmation followed by standard covid procedure of taking temperature then shown to our seat. We ordered drinks whilst selecting the starters. Drinks arrived and order taken, straight forward with no issues as mentioned in other posts. Food arrived promptly and was piping hot and very tasty, starters, duck and mains. All very good in fact. Overall an excellent birthday celebration topped off with free gifts for the birthday boy and girl. Many thanks to both those who served us and the management, we will definitely be back.

Visited on Friday very pleased with our first restaurant visit WE FELT SAFE Lots of negative reviews regarding management stance on covid precautions masks , temperature taking hand sanitising This carried on into the restaurant, well spaced tables, staff wearing masks and gloves For us that was very reassuring Food was a all you can eat menu for £17.95p each Food came out promptly , very tasty, taster size portions but no restrictions on how many you could order The service was very good and we found the staff to be friendly regardless of negative views We were surprised how many large takeaway orders were going out so local customers must like the food Great value for money

We visited on a Saturday night for the all you can eat menu option. It was busy in the restaurant but luckily we had booked a table. Prawn crackers and dip already on each table, drink orders taken straight away. We has the mixed starter which came quickly although we were disappointed with this, the prawn toast was bland, the ribs had no sauce, a tiny amount of meat in the won ton and no sauce with the satay chicken, the spring rolls were the only enjoyable part of the starter. Duck pancakes were fine for the mid course with enough for 3 per. person.
