Christophe's Coffee House

Christophe runs a little gem of a bistro cafe. Gorgeous fresh 'home made ' food. Cozy, friendly atmosphere. Great little find.

I have dined at this restaurant several times and have never been let down. I have introduced most of my friends and family to it, as the food and atmosphere are both outstanding. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time to secure a table.

We were recommended this charming restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, made with fresh ingredients. It was the best breakfast I've had in a long time. We will definitely be returning. The freshly pressed apple juice was also delicious. Thank you.

After my morning spent volunteering in the Community Library, we met up and went to Christophe's for lunch. I had a filling Chicken Fajita. My other half had the day's special which was a Spinach Ricotta Quiche with chips and salad and pronounced it to be wonderful. As always, just spot on.

What a fab place! Lovely, cosy bistro style with great food on offer. We both had the traditional breakfast, which were fantastic. Everything is cooked fresh, which makes such a difference to the quality. Best mushrooms ever, but no secret other than cooked to order! Would recommend booking, as it was quite busy. This was my first visit to Christophe's having just moved to the area, and I was very impressed! We didn't have a booking and all the tables had been reserved as Saturday mornings are apparently very busy for breakfast, however, the waitress kindly managed to squeeze us in. The place itself was spotlessly clean, the staff were polite, friendly and efficient, and the food was fantastic. We will most definitely be going back (although I'll be sure to book in advance, next time)!

My husband and I have come to Christophes for years now and we have NEVER has a bad experience. You’re always met with a genuine, warm welcome and made to feel so welcome throughout. The food is always freshly cooked and very tasty which nearly every dish able to be made gluten free without any fuss. The whole ordering process is so seamless and allergens are treated without you feeling awkward like in some establishments. What’s even better is that you can always trust that Christophe has some tasty gluten free deserts on hand!! Couldn’t recommend it enough here!

Visited today as passing and noticed the board outside. Decided to visit an independent place instead of a chain cafe and so we had some food and drink. We ordered coffee , lemon drizzle cake and a halloumi and hummus ciabatta. All the food was tasty and fresh and cooked to order. The cake was moist but the lemon was a bit too overpowering. Maybe a tad less lemon zest next time ? The menu was just the right size and had options to suit all tastes. Also ordered the sticky toffee pudding which was lovely and I believe home made. The food was value for money and would definitely visit again. Luckily found parking on the road which was convenient.

What a fantastic discovery! I found Cafe Christophe through an internet search and it did not disappoint. One great advantage is that you can make reservations ahead of time. Despite its small size, the restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. Christophe took great care of us throughout the meal, providing friendly and helpful service, even ensuring that my coffee was just right. Our group enjoyed omelettes, eggs Benedict, and two full English breakfasts with teas and coffees. The total bill of £44 was excellent value.
