"We stopped here as although empty, they had sea bream as catch of the day and we really wanted a grilled fish. This restaurant is located in the market area and other cafes advertise selling a while bream for €12 in the day so after ordering one break for two (which was quite small), we were surprised to get a bill for 31.50 for the fish. I guess we should have known as catch of the day is often expensive but it was a bit surprising. The bottle of grillo was also expensive (although you could have ordered a litre of local wine quite cheaply). We finished with a tiramisu and quite frankly it was inedible. I think the waitress asked us if it was bad but our Italian wasn’t good enough to convey and we were charged €5 for it. Total bill for one fish, sides of chips tomato salad, tiramisu and two espressos with one bottle of wine was €80. We ate in a few local places in this area of ortigia and this was a disappointment."

Extemly bad service. There were 8 of us and we ordered wine and 2 portions of food because others hadn't chosen yet. They rudely asked us to leave because we didn't order 8 portions right away. I do not recommend!!!

I stopped at lunch with my wife during a visit to the syracuse. the local is located a few steps from the fish market. the staff and the gestrice have been beyondmodo kind and helpful, ready to our requests and questions. we ordered fish dishes, risotto with seafood, mixed fried fish, mixed grilled sea and peanut tomatoes. all very gouty and well cooked with fresh fish. wine of the good area. It's a fabulous spritz. we had lunch outside, given the beautiful day. very spacious, well furnished. average prices with good value for money. recommended for those who love fish. Ver carta

August. Many tourists around.so restaurants must be ready. We sat at 9:00 and served our antipasti at 10:30. And it was a hard polio (octopuss) and a very bad caponata. It's hard to eat badly in Sicily. It was bad here. I didn't even eat my pasta, it was boiled over and the ingredients of the sauce didn't mix well. Our daughters did not crispy Calamari and much too salty. While we eat, people left their tables (kick of waiting) and the table behind us (with a small child) was very irritated (after 1 hour they do not wait their antipasto). So I'm just avoiding this restaurant. Super slow service and food was really pretty bad. The only thing I enjoyed was the swordfish in a cap and tomato sau...

We had finished going around the island and most places were not serving food at 3:15 or so only drinks we asked if they were serving, and the waiter came back and said they would and seated us. We ordered apps and dinner, and it was really great. We had the caponata, mussels with gorgonzola, and a side of meatball (I had to try them) the APPS were very good we did feed a stray cat too For dinner I had the spaghetti carbonara and my wife had the linguini seafood carbonara and both were great mine was out of this world and I highly recommend it. The service was really great they made sure we were tended too and wanting for nothing. I think the owners came out and asked us how it was, and we t...

"a dinner in general good, though with some dripping. the quality of raw materials is certainly excellent but not always appreciated at the most. I felt a bit on the roller coaster with a beaten finish. Although the place I like for its modern and minimal style, I find that there is a lack of personality and identity. the atmosphere is elegant and welcoming. the service was accurate, punctual and never intrusive. special mention to the sommelier who recommended me a great wine and a novelty for me, with the menu degotato. begins with a degotation of oil and focaccia. Stop, you can't leave! among other things all yeast from their products are very unified. the moment of the event is an explosion of flavors, three particular and delicious finger food, especially the enamelled fig. the appetizer provides tuna with figs and pistachios. He was melting in his mouth. pat the bowl with high edges, in which it was served, which made the ooo of knife and fork difficult and the experience less pleasant. the first small descent arrives. spaghetti (for my slightly back cooking) with black garlic, with chili oil and I could stop here because the goto of marinated and burrata shrimp was completely covered. the burrata, in fact, was not allowed. as if it had fallen by mistake, just to get the dish dirty. I sail with the curl, very soft, and a crumb to the olives, spectacular. in the dish also of caramelized onion, cucunci and a green apple frozen and fennel. The latter, personally, would have preferred it in puree, so as to tie everything better. start a new descent with dessert pre: a mango sorbet on the cocoa soil. More than anything was the ice flavored on something cocoa color from the unreceived goto. continue the vertiginous descent with dessert: a watermelon sorbet with ricotta cuffs and fresh fruit. also here of the flavored ice. for charity, ricotta and good fruit. but you can't define a dessert. Finally, it is clear, although partial, with the small pastry shop. a green apple jelly that knew of cooked apple, a kiss of a dama a little too hard and a creamy at the pistachio really good but that was already dissolved. I forgot that each dish had flowers, which did not add anything except decoration. No, thank you. Ultimately, as a client who loves to eat and as a professional who works with restaurants and hotels, I find that there are many good ideas that can be done better, and I know that it will be presumptuous, but I recommend to the chef to take a good pastry. because a sweet conclusion is everything that seeks the customer, as well as the last thing that will remember."
