On my recent visit the food was very nice and the staff that served me were very polite and friendly and had a very good drinks selection and well worth a visit.

Honestly just had lunch with a mate here, never been before and will definitely return without hesitation...food was divine, service excellent. We sat in the garden.....sun was shining, happy days! Thank you!

Excellent sunday roast and dessert. Clearly, Lucy is the talented chef. This is by far the best roast that i have ever. Service is attentive but not stuffy. Jon is very helpful and always on his fast feet. Thank you Ver carta

Landlord was fantastic. We had a bit of drama with our toddler when first arrived for a unbooked lunch. He was exceptionally accommodating of us and went above and beyond. Really made our day. Food was also excellent and portions were great. Highly recommend and will be going back if we ever venture that way again. Thanks

We came for Easter Sunday lunch and the place was packed! The food was incredibly tasty. Good portion size and we felt full when we left (as you should when you've had a roast! An adult roast was between £16-£19, which is a little more expensive than we'd usually pay, but you absolutely pay for what you get! The kids menu was good value, 3 courses for £10....same amazing quality. Did I mention the Easter Chocolate Heaven pudding? *Chefs kiss!!

OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS BRILLIANT IN THIS PROPER FRIENDLY COUNTRY PUB... I HAD PRE BOOKED A TABLE FOR LUNCH FOR MY 27 GUESTS... ON THE DAY WE ALL RECEIVED A FRIENDLY WELCOME AND IT WAS WARM AND COZY WITH THE LOG FIRE ADDING TO THE EXPREIENCE... I DO PUB LUNCHES ABOUT 20 TIMES A YEAR AND THEIRS HAS TO BE ONE OF THOES WITH THE MOST FLAVOUR OF THEM ALL... I HAVE SINCE RECEIVED MANY GOOD COMMENTS REGARDING ALL OF THE FRIENDLY YOUNG STAFF, THE ACTUAL MEALS, AND A LOT OF PRAISE FOR JON THE LANDLORD, SUCH AS, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, CONSIDERATE, ATTENTION GIVEN TO ALL, VERY NICE GENTLEMAN... I AM PROUD THAT I CHOOSE THE COACH AND HORSES FROM THE SATISFACTION OF MY GUESTS... SO A WARM WELCOME, LOVELY... Ver carta
