"Unfortunately, my food was not what I had ordered. I specifically requested a burger without a bun, cheese, or onion, but what I received was just a burger patty with a small slice of bacon on two pieces of bread—no lettuce, tomato, mayo, or side salad. Since I had mentioned my gluten-free requirement when ordering, I hoped they might have given me gluten-free bread, but that wasn’t the case. I was short on time, so I ended up just eating the meat and some of the chips. To make matters worse, I had to move to a wet table outside midway through my meal. All of this cost me $18. If you have more time to spare, you might have a better experience, but I only had about 30 minutes for lunch."

The chicken quesadilla was fantastic, especially with the flavorful sour cream taco seasoning sauce that accompanied it. Ver carta

This is a lovely little spot with delicious paninis. They have a restroom and offer fast, free Wi-Fi. The service was quick, making it a great place to grab a bite before heading to Holeness Ferry.

Charming little café. The staff kindly prepared a veggie breakfast for us, even though it wasn’t on the menu. They have a great selection of teas, coffee, soups, sandwiches, rolls, and breakfast items. Ver carta

This is a fantastic spot for a quick bite or a drink in a beautiful setting in August. They have an impressive selection of cakes, sandwiches, and paninis, all at reasonable prices. Even during peak hours with a long line, I was served quickly and didn't have to wait long for my panini (which was delicious). The staff was very friendly and professional. My panini was presented beautifully and was incredibly tasty.

If you're planning to go on a boat tour, this spot is a great option for takeaway. They only offered a ham and cheese sandwich on gluten-free bread, but it did the trick for us since we could bring it on the boat. It was quite a busy place. I'm unsure about their credit card procedures, but I didn't get sick after eating here. The sandwich was well-made, featuring three large slices of bread, melted cheese on one side, ham on the other, along with mayo, and served with tomato and lettuce on the side alongside some potato chips.

"My beloved treated me for my birthday (as he knows this is my favourite restaurant locally and I have been bending his ear about how wonderful it is! . He was a little sceptical when he saw the pictures of the tasting menu because he loves his food (in quantity that would sink most . Well, what can I say except...a lovely welcome at reception, quickly seated and drinks ordered, thanks to the wonderfully attentive waiting staff (Josh, is a star and really knowledgeable of the menu . The amuse bouche. trio duck liver twiglet, Arbroath smokie gougeres and the trout/apple tartlet were an absolute explosion of flavour and a taster if things to come. The treacle bannock was served with an onion butter and a plain butter topped with Isle of Skye salt (amazing stuff and very moreish. (at this point hubby 's eye 's lit up and he became enthusiastic! . I had the Highland Beef for my main, he had the Halibut and mussels and both were exceptional and beautifully presented. The Lemon cheesecake (in a chocolate coating with blackcurrant sorbet was just delicious and a perfect, not too sweet or heavy, way to end the meal. I didn 't take pics (unfortunately but they do have some of the dishes on their Facebook and instagram pages. Tasting menus of this quality will never be cheaper but this was absolutely worth every penny. 3 AA rosettes is really an under estimate of Chef Kelly and the teams abilities! Thank you for a memorable evening and we will most definitely be back. P.s I 've made the bannock bread from the recipe given it 's amazing :"
