Great food, high quality and delicious ice cream. The only problem was the quality of the Barg was not the same when ordered as individual dish and in Soltani. They were both good, but the taste was very different.

I’ve dined in many Persian restaurants. While the ambiance was charming and the service was excellent, the food lacked the special presence that makes Persian food pop it was acceptable but at best average. We ordered the standard grilled chicken. It came with a small portion of rice (most Persian restaurants give you too much) with very little saffron and the meager portion of chicken was not marinated and seasoned as expected for this dish; there was a thin sliver of lemon and no grilled tomatoes or onions customarily seen with this presentation. While walking down Rue Mouffetard in the Latin quarter, we were pleasantly surprised to find this Iranian Armenian Restaurant called Colbeh. It serves an assortment of middle eastern food with a Persian twist. The menu is pretty straight forward, with an English explanation for...each dish, our waitress was very nice and the service was swift. We ordered the Assiette Colbeh, which is an assortment of appetizers like tabbouleh, mast Kliar, humus, dolmas, etc. The Lamb kebabs were very tasty as was the chicken marinated in lemon and saffron. We went to this restaurant by chance visiting Paris over the weekend. My boyfriend who is Iranian saw it in the neighborhood we were staying in and we were grateful that the waitress was able to accommodate us without a reservation. While we thought the...prices were high compared to the same dishes in Rome we figured Paris is more expensive. When we got the bill, we noticed we were charged to € more for each of the dishes we ordered, making the total bill over higher than the actual total. When we asked to see the menu, to double check, we were given a different menu from the original one, with higher prices that corresponded with our bill.
