"I used to frequent this restaurant many years ago, when there was also a location on South Orange Ave. I would always order brisket, corned beef, or pastrami sandwiches. This was my first visit in about 10 years and I found the place to be located in a sketchy area that made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The limited menu is posted on the back of one of the doors. They also serve liquor, which is kept behind a steel gate, and the register is covered with what looks like bulletproof plastic. The staff, including the owner Cooper who took my order and made my sandwich, were friendly and accommodating. The sandwiches are priced at around $13 but are filled with a generous amount of meat and come with two small pickles. The portions are large enough to be split into two meals. I opted for the pastrami Reuben which was delicious as usual. I give this place 4 stars because of the tasty sandwiches and the friendly staff."

Salads. My niece purchased a chef salad yesterday it had onions peppers cheese with honey turkey in it with Russian dressing 21 May, 2015 Hot Pastrami. On my hot pastrami I get Russian dressing Cole slaw on a wheat roll it be so good I jus wanna go back for more

Great corned beef and pastrami deli. Had the classic size pastrami on rye with mustard. Very good. Fresh rye bread and pastrami. Parking and safety of area is the lack of 5 stars. Rough neighborhood/section of Newark. Service is slow as well. Good sandwiches for sure, just in a rough section of town.

sure that my favorite place in burlington go amazing drinks, vibe and music. also the desserts are so good my quality is that they use plastic cups if they want water. who doesn't do it if you have a drink? Goggles please! vermont is a leading provider in sustainableness- would like to see that the disposable plastic in this device is gone Ver carta

The Truth. OMG! I can't wait to go back to get the hot pastrami from Cooper's. FYI to Low Brow, I live in Seattle Washington, where it's safe, but you will never find food like Cooper's. I also got the Roast Beef on wheat, which was so good, I'd give up a rib eye if I could just get another bite. Until next visit, because I'll definitely go back to Cooper's (hood and all).

Bad lunch. I grew up eating coopers sandwiches all you would say is that they gave you so much meat you could make two or three sandwiches.. Well times have change I got a cornbeef and pastrami sandwich that was absolutely not worth the price. I was able to eat this little sandwich by myself ,the Russian dressing tasted funny leaving a horrible after taste.the prices went up and the quality and quantity went down. I was very disappointed but I have no one to complain to cause the real boss has past on.. South Orange avenue will never get my money again
