"On a cold, wet day and after a lovely walk to the falls in splendid full torrent, I popped in to the Coppice Cafe which is discreetly tucked behind the Visitor Centre for a quick lunch. The cafe is warm and cosy with an excellent selection of hot snacks like toasties and baked potatoes, as well as 10 different cakes all freshly made and delicious. (OK I didn’t try all 10 but I could tell they wouldn’t disappoint!)There is a lovely outside seating area as well for when weather permits, but as the inside is dog friendly too it is a perfect place to indulge."

We enjoyed scrumptious bacon sandwiches with a lovely latte before going for a walk to the falls. The staff were very friendly, highly recommend.

I had the vegan wrap which was delicious and came with a side salad and crisps. My friend had a jacket potato with chilli which they said was very good too. Great value for money

This restaurant was a delightful discovery with delicious food at a great price. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided just the right touch after a trip to the waterfalls.

Before Covid we had been to this cafe for the lovely home made scones, jam and cream. We ordered today and we were very happy when the scones arrived they were warm and delicious. Always recommend to friends and family if they are in the area.

Visited with family, Sunday 13th September. The ice cream was to die for and the service was brilliant. Both waitresses we encountered were lovely and so kind to the children. The price was extremely fair. Couldn’t recommend enough, the perfect end to a lovely day,...

Situated next to the Aysgarth falls a natural wonder the cafe offers plenty of choices of food, including lunches, salads, cakes, and drinks to suit all tastes. Seating available both inside and outside the Yorkshire Dales visitors centre, which offers plenty of ideas and information about the region. Service is very friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit. Ver carta

The food at this restaurant was both overpriced and mediocre. The salad was piled on excessively, the sandwich lacked mayo and was dry, and the cheese on the toastie was unpleasant and unmelted. The overall experience was not worth the cost, and I would not recommend this cafe unless you're willing to spend a fortune on a subpar meal. Aysgarth Falls is beautiful, but the restaurant is not worth the visit.

Three of us called on the cafe for a quick lunchtime snack, we had a warm welcome and ordered two homemade vegetable soup’s and a bacon bap at the counter. We were served at our table, the soup was delicious, came with artisan bread and a small pot of grated cheese. Bacon bap was oozing with good quality thick bacon and a salad garnish. We were very happy with our choices and would definately return another day.

"We arrived here for a 2 night stay for a wedding (Fri sat night). PROS: Lynsey the manageress she 100% makes it so fabulous. Lovely, welcoming, looked after us brilliantly. Due to some staff shortages, she was doing what seemed like 10 jobs at once! We ate on one of the nights food was delicious! Great service tasty food. Breakfast was also spot on set us up brilliantly for the day ahead on the Saturday! The Willow room which we stayed in was fab ideal size, lovely cosy too! The whole 2 night stay was extremely reasonably priced the place itself has a great feel about it like a big cosy house! CONS: If you like total darkness, take an eye mask for sleeping as the rooms can get really bright from the early hours. Also, depending on the room, it’s on quite a busy road so can be quite nosy it would be worth having earplugs if you like a quiet surrounding. Due to staffing, the bar doesn’t stay open that late, so be mindful of this, they will however put drinks in your room if you can’t make it back in time for the bar closing. Taxis there are no local taxis, so arranging transport to the wedding we were attending was a nightmare which we didn’t account for! Luckily after 6 different phone calls, we managed to get sorted. The only gripe I had was the confusion over the bill if you decide to charge things to your room, the bills aren’t itemised so it’s difficult to keep track of what has been charged. There was some confusion on checkout over what we should shouldn’t have been charged for, so definitely choose to pay for any extras outright to avoid any confusion or uncertainty before check out. Other than that, it was one of the nicest, most personal stays we’ve had out in a long long time. This was mainly down to the Manageress Lynsey who is fabulous at her job really does make it feel like home makes you feel super welcomed relaxed. Thank you lynsey for really making a stay a one to remember."
