Coro The Chocolate Cafe

Tried their chocolate fudge waffle plate and it was quite fulfilling! The serving size was good and the prices are good as well. The location is quite central. The staff is friendly too.

young vibes allround in this caffeine. I mean, I guess the really sweet glooms are probably too much even for people in their 30s. but I loved the vibe, keep her on you. I really loved the keksteig, but I couldn't finish him alone, and I thought I had a sweet tooth.

this is a Jewel! We stumbled by chance on this place and I am so glad! the portions are huuuge and the waffeln are amazing and under 10 pfunds. the coffee is also great. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. definitiw recommend it and will be back when I am next time in edinburgh! has been here several times. when friends and family came to visit, I took them here and it was always a hit. the caffe is not too big, but it is really beautifully decorated. the personal is really beautiful and the eating delicious. the crepes and pancakes are very tasty, and I personally also enjoyed the hot chocolate. it is not the best place if they have diet requirements, but the fruit fondue is vegan friendly, and also very tasty. great place!

who doesn't love chocolate? this place has potential. chocolate plus central Edinburgh location, but felt down. most tables empty, but wait to get dirty plates when we arrived. had to ask for a menu when they were sitting. seats torn leather and walls need refreshed. toilet was dirty and the place was only opened an hour. pfannkuchen stodgy. the sirup and the chocolate fine. 30 year old woman treated her 5 year old daughter and remained disappointed. will not be back, I fear!

Had a confirmed booking at 7pm for Friday 30th. Turned up to be told they were shutting early ….and all bookings had been contacted to cancel. Not acceptable, had travelled into town for this and not even attempted to cancel the booking or contact me beforehand. Funnily enough received an email on mon 2nd thanking me for my visit ?! Very poor service. We ended up going along to haute dolci at st james centre and will now never be back a Coro. From reading other reviews it’s certainly not what it used to be. Ver carta

We always make sure to stop by this restaurant whenever we're in Edinburgh. The last time we dined here was two years ago, and we definitely noticed a major difference this time around. The food was fantastic, as usual, but the service was severely lacking. We waited a considerable amount of time for someone to assist us, and when our server finally arrived, they apologized and explained that they were short-staffed. Unfortunately, our overall experience this time was not as great due to the lack of personnel resulting in subpar service.

have some good reviews about this place and the first time we went here, it was full and they mostly accepted reservations. as our last day in edinburgh we have a reservation for the next morning, so we can try it before we are gone. first I was a bit skeptical at this place, as all chiokolaty was a bit too sweet and too extra sound. we have a short brot waffel and double chocolate pfancake. we loved both, nothing was too sweet or extra, instead it was the perfect balance and all amazing aromen, this is a little rare, especially to reach in a dessert café. I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. My party and I were excited to dine here for dinner. We arrived on time with a reservation, but the waitress seemed surprised. We ordered dessert and water but waited 30 minutes without any update. It took 35 minutes just to get our water. When we asked about our dessert, the waitress said it would be another 10 minutes. After waiting for so long despite having a reservation, we decided to cancel our order. The waitress did not offer to speed things up or apologize. We found dessert elsewhere that was faster and cheaper. Overall, this experience was a disappointing waste of time. Ver carta
