"I have been going to Sardinia for 42 years, I am practically Sardinian by adoption, as well as an expert in their cuisine. At Costa Sigieri you eat like GOD! Generous portions at a fair price (the raw appetizer is practically a tray...in other restaurants it's a saucer! , and everything is cooked in an extraordinary way. My parents had really excellent fish first courses, while I chose the malloreddusu alla Campidanese, and they were so good that I was afraid of finishing them! Pure poetry, that tomato sauce with sausage and pecorino, and the gnocchi (like linguine and spaghetti perfectly al dente. Added to this is the absolute friendliness of the owner who never fails to let you know that he is Calabrian! But he has a Sardinian wife and above all a D.O.C. Sardinian chef!!! Walter welcomes you with great warmth, makes you feel at home, and also makes you laugh a lot. All things that make a difference in a world where everyone is angry, stressed and sulky, now even in restaurants, where courtesy should be a basic requirement. The environment is elegant, perhaps just a little cold; the desserts on the cart didn't seem up to the quality of the rest (primarily the very pale tarte tatin , but we took the seadas and you can never go wrong with that! Honey a little bitter for my taste, but mine liked it that way. I recommend a sprinkling of lemon zest on top, as they do in Gallura, for a delicious touch of class. But in summary, Costa Sigieri is absolutely the BEST SARDINIAN RESTAURANT in MILAN! An experience to have for those who want to try the true regional cuisine of the island and enjoy excellent dishes with a smile and the best wines. Thank you WALTER for your attention and cuddles. It was the first time and we will always return, even if you are a little far away for us."
