"they need to take the time to visit this in history, friendly, amazing pub! we visited a Sunday with our two dogs. the personal is very courteous, I could order something that was not on the menu. was no problem at all. really like the fact that it not only roasted dinner on the menu. Typically, most places only make one roast on a Sunday. but not everyone wants a roast. the choices were amazing. and! these young people don't tear you off. the prices are very reasonable. the dogs are welcome throughout the pub. I couldn't blame this place at all. we will definitely return. weston underwood is a stunning village in buckinghamshire. Look at william cowper on wiki when you visit. that makes it special. many thanks to the staff who taught my unfortunateness. Had lunch and it was delicious. Very meaty lamb burger and beef burger. Gluten free bun for one of us; very accommodating with the menu. Friendly staff and an open fire with a lovely atmosphere.

it was really fun to eat here. I had the deliciously pulled pork chop as main and swashing rings, both perfectly cooked. the service was warm and friendly. only critique would be the pub itself to do with modernization. in any case worth a visit.

Fab Sunday lunch here! Great food and service. A warm welcome, and order taken promptly after getting our drinks. Sunday roasts served on hot plates with all the expected trimmings. Delicious! Nice atmosphere and roasts are served until 4.30! Highly recommended! Ver carta

Sunday lunch here yesterday which was so delicious and beautifully served. This pub serves extra Yorkshire Puddings and roast potatoes so the lunch was very well received. We had the roast beef and it was absolutely delicious. Beautiful garden out the back to enjoy and a lovely drive to this special pub which serves great food is the perfect way to spend a Sunday. We will be back and hope that many other diners will support this great country pub.

super friendly staff in Cowper’s oak. we booked for a Saturday midday and at the arrival were greeted by some friendly faces, which makes it a beautiful experience. they were very accommodating for our young family with a high chair and a good choice of children's dishes. we love proper pub food. you know the type of cake of the day and chips or a burger and chips. it was good to know that they delivered some of their ingredients locally. the pub had a cozy feeling, old and warm with the open fire was a welcome joy. there are not many local independent pubs in the opposite, so this was a big sound. we'll be back soon.

"Absolutely average restaurant. Dirty bamboo table mats and super dirty windows, kinda sad to look out of them. Impatient service, who under 6 minutes 5 times came back trying to pressure me to take my order. I was confused as I thought it was a restaurant not a fast food place. Silly me who used to live in Japan though the menu is just like there, with pictures. How wrong I was...So getting my phone to have a look at their website, what kinda different that in the restaurant menu card one. When I tried to ask for reconditions, I didn't get any, she just straight away took the last what I asked. The steamed algae was very nice, but my noodle soup was a big surprise, as I have no idea what's roasted (burned) pepper and massive chunks of onions doing there? It's supposed to be sea food, but instead just some burned vegetables scared with frozen octopus, mussels and mini calamari rings poured up with chicken broth. So yeah, kinda disappointing. Drink wise I asked the waitress do they have any tonic water as it isn't listed on the menu card, she looked at me like I am a weirdo. I asked for Roku gin what is my favourite. On the receipt was counted as an extra pound because Japanese. Lol, no comment. Getting the drinks, from other restaurants you get the spirit on the rocks in the glass and front of you they pouring the mixer drink from the mini bottle. Here not, just straight away together as it comes. Oh and don't bother asking without lemon, because you are getting one either way. So Akasaka restaurant did not become my favourite one. Once and last. Easily can be forgotten. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"
