Really enjoyed my small plates of prawns and beetroot falafel. Friendly staff, moved me when the table outside became available..wine was lovely too

beautiful renovation on what was former earls. much lighter and more airy. great outdoor deck will be in the sun fab. interesting menu, tapas style nibbles, tortilla packed perfectly for lunch and proper steak and chips. large drink card and live music continues. in any case worth a visit! Popped in on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy, groups of friends, groups of families. Good service, a couple of beers I didn't know, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Wasn't so keen on the bench tables by the main door that were a little wobbly. The maps on the floors of the toilets were fantastic, though.

Great service, delicious food and reasonably priced. All in all a fantastic experience. We went with a toddler and it was a grat experience. The staff were extremely friendly and approachable. The kids meal came at the right temperature, I've noticed in other places the food for kids can be too hot but here at market house it was perfect for my little one to get started as soon as she had her food in front of her. Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family to go.

Had the most amazing food here pre England match. Was passing through after touring holiday around Kent. Made to feel so welcome by Claire. She chatted to us and went out her way to ensure we were happy with our food and that the chef made allowances for food allergy. The food was superb. The service was worthy of the highest award! The staff were all so happy to be there, they were jolly, friendly and came across like a big happy family. Just loved it. Recommend to the highest possible degree! Go! Ver carta
