"We made a reservation for 7 pm, and we were turned away and asked to come back at 7:15 so the cook could finish his coffee, so things didn't start great. However, once inside the restaurant, the waitress was very gracious and the crepes were in fact the best we had ever eaten. My teenage kids devoured them, as did myself and my husband. My husband and I the savory while the kids ate the sweet crepes, which were all fantastic! Another key attribute about this restaurant is that it is right across the street from a public parking lot which is very convenient. Make sure to make reservations since it's small and fills up fast. It was also the least expensive meal we have had in Bidart, but among the better meals we have had."

Tiny restaurant so reserve especially for lunch. Reasonable prices and good food. The kitchen is open, always a good sign.

Even though crepes are good, the hospitality is absolutely the worst I've ever experienced. Despite our reservation, the chef sent us away because we had two prams.

Probably the best crêpes to be found. The owner imports the flour - blé noir - from a single supplier in Bretagne, wholeground. Magical! Extremely laid back, surfer feeling and good service. Price quality is stellar and a visit/surf in Bidart is not complete without at least one crêpe complète.

Small creperie but good quality. Reserving is recommended; we did not and where lucky that there was still one table available but we saw a lot of people being turned away. We had the menu, which was basically a crepe from the list with a oysters as a starter and a sweet crepe as desert. Very good oysters so try! Must warn that the oysters are only half-opened so it is still a bit of work. Ver carta

This modest little white-walled restaurant in Bidart makes the most delicious crepes I have ever tasted. We can't help going back to try more and every single time they have been superb. We have tried both savoury and sweet and highly recommend the one with caramelised apple and calvados as a delightful dessert to share. A good deal omoysters also. The service is good too, prompt and friendly.

I love my crepes and this took things to a whole new level. Always one for the sweet rather than the savoury, I bucked the trend and went for a savoury crepe. Absolutely delicious. They make their crepes with a different mix/flour that other places - I think it might be buckwheat but I'm not sure. All 6 of us really enjoyed our savoury crepes and polished them off with speed! Great value in a relaxed environment with friendly staff

I went to this place with a local French friend who had known the place before. Newly introduced to the authentic French cuisine the crepes I had here have cemented my love for it. You can tune your crepe according to your taste. In dessert I had a salte caramel crepe with vanilla ice cream. And that was the climax of taste. The portions are reasonable and the prices are fair for the quality and quantity you get. Would love to come back. Ver carta

We ate lunch here twice as found the galettes really delicious with generous portions and it suited us with young children. It's run by a couple and the service was very good. We thought the price was fine - a creperie is a lot more expensive in Paris, but cheaper in Britanny. My only criticism is that the mushrooms are clearly tinned mushrooms and my husband said the ham wasn't the best quality - but it all tasted really good and the owner/cook was very generous with the fillings. Would definitely go back.

Took me a little while to work out that it was essentially Breton. Nice old room, part of the hotel building. The crepes are shaped a bit like Breton gallettes which should have been a clue. There is a twist as they use black grained flour for the savoury crepes which are, very good. The half dozen oyster starters were good value. All this washed down with Breton cider - close your eyes and you could be several hundred km further north. Great place, good food for all the family. Safest to book in high season.

"This place is an amazing concept and a beautiful idea- home made sauces, fresh produce with customised tacos, burgers and salads. My boyfriend and I were so excited to try the menu, aware our French is limited but doing our best with it, we met...a frosty reception where the guy taking our order (an owner) began sighing and rolling his eyes despite us politely asking for a table and making our order which was done by filling out a form. No problem really, we understand adjusting to limited French/English can be irritating. He brings our tacos out, slams them on the table and again, we kind of thought “amazing tacos, bad customer service, we’ll take it.” Midway through eating, mine were veggie steak (which were amazing to be fair) and he had ceviche however turns out his tacos didn’t have any ceviche in them. Again, no problem, this happens BUT when we are the only two customers ordering at that time, filling out a form personally, it’s a bit strange. A big mistake such as leaving out the main ingredient and having someone scowling at you the whole time somehow becomes less forgiving. I told the owner and he comes out to investigate, looking at the taco and then asking my boyfriend if he knew what ceviche was (patronising anyway when he’s ordered, but he’s a career chef who has prepared ceviche tacos himself...even then a lot of people know what it is). The chef forgot we were told, the tacos were free and no replacement offered or any apology. I think the main thing is personally, my food was delicious and as ordered but I felt so uncomfortable as a paying customer that in the middle of the meal I couldn’t enjoy it for what it was. So if you don’t want customers in your restaurant for whatever reason maybe don’t seat them passive aggressively and let them move on, I would have preferred so. And if you pride yourself on how everything is home made and fresh, that’s great but put the main ingredient in the taco also because, that’s pretty essential."
