"The staff at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful, however, the food itself was disappointing. I ordered a fish cake which was watery and lacked flavor. My partner had a steak and ale cake, but the steak was strange in texture and tasted overly sweet. The sauce seemed to be a mixture of BBQ sauce and dishwater. The appetizers we had, on the other hand, were enjoyable. I had the bread and cheese with a dip, which was delicious. My partner had the soup of the day, which seemed to have been microwaved but still tasted good."

we enjoyed a great meal here. the personal was great. it is a real place pub where the neighboring families and couples go for a walk to drink or eat an evening.

I was speechless after my visit to this restaurant. Only one staff member was working, and despite her best efforts, the service was poor. The lack of heating made it feel like sitting in a fridge. It seemed like the place was being run by clowns, as it was laughable how poorly the pub was managed. I definitely will not be returning. Bar staff were really polite and helpful but the food was the worst i have had. 2 1/2 of our table of 3 plates went back full still and no childs menu. Vegetables/potatoes come out raw and looking microwaved multiple times. But the staff were promt to put this right. By this point i had given up with the meal. The puddings were clearly bought in not much effort included. And only one toilet. Have been for a drink before in the summer it was lovely but will not be returning again for food. Bar staff 10/10.
