Cross Oak Inn - Carta

Haven't had Sunday lunch her for ages and had forgotten how good it was. Portions seem more generous than ever as well. Had Yorkshire, stuffing, 2 types of potato and I about 6 different types of veg!

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. We were quickly seated, had our drink orders taken promptly, and the food exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly delicious and I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent food , excellent service the chef was happy to do a meal for my friend with special dietry requirements. We all had a lovely meal and tasty desserts. Very nice pub, friendly and very helpfull staff, well worth a visit Ver carta

I went to this restaurant for a family lunch and the food was excellent. The burger was so big that I could only finish half of it, so I took the rest home. The steak was also outstanding. I couldn't find anything to fault with the meal.

Lovely warm atmosphere when you entered warm welcome. We was lucky to have nice weather , so sat outside in the gardens which are family safe, large nice grounds all enclosed. Sat inside to have our meal. Service very good.meal Lovely, will be definitely returning, all round a lovely experience. We'll done xxx

We had an incredible Sunday lunch at this restaurant, one of the best we've ever had. The portion size was excellent and there was a great selection of vegetables served hot, just like a traditional family roast at home. We want to give a huge thank you to Tommi, who is one of the best chefs we've ever met and is a true asset to the establishment. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning with other family members in the future. Ver carta

Not happy seen it on Facebook thought gibe it a try the menu is basic and very over prices for what you get it's cheep pub grub at to price to start was fly's in the vinger big no no and the curry was served with cold chicken did not complain after the fly just wanted to get out of there will not be there long lots young staff sat around talking no one really serving or makeing sure things are right sad like to see people do well sadly I will not be back

4 of us wanted a afternoon meal we had the menu none of the classics available and a lot more very few items, no fish and chips, no lasagne, only one burger off the menu, really disappointing we had our meal which was not what we really wanted very disappointing, and after the meal we sat there for 20 minutes waiting for table service,we had to go to the bar to get our drinks our self bear in mind there were only 8 people in the restaurant the staff were around the bar talking and laughing , when we got their attention for deserts t only a few items were available, this venue is under new management it will not survive the standards are far below and the management is none existence

We have spent a lot of time in this pub over the years and I have never had a bad mouthful of food here ever until today, I ordered the corn beef pie which has always been delicious, the food arrived and I could tell at once that this was not the usual pie, this was a cheap horrible looking pie with lumps of potato in it and even more lumps in the gravy, it was returned to the kitchen and I opted for the mixed grill instead, which comprised of 2 cheap tasting sausages a bit of dried chicken, a small tough steak which I could not even cut through (which was brought home intact for the dog) and the tiniest piece of shrivelled up gammon for the princely sum of £22.95 , the menu choices have bee...
