"A nice vibrant pub in the centre of town. If you want food, don’t bother. You’re actually lucky if you can order something you want, we tried for 4 different mains and a starter, and they were out of all of them. A bit like the Waldorf salad in Fawlty Towers! I was eventually able to order some breaded mushrooms to start and we ordered a couple of pizzas. The starter came with the pizzas along with a gruff apology for the delay. The mushrooms had obviously been ready for a while and forgotten about as they were rock hard. The pizzas were grim, Andrea ate about 1/4 of hers and I managed about half, tasteless and the raw onions and peppers didn’t help"

Michelle, the manager, provided excellent service. She was attentive and accommodating. We frequent The Swan and would highly recommend their carvery on any evening.

Stayed here for a friends daughter’s 30th which was nearby. The room was beautiful, bathroom outstanding, would certainly visit again. The people running the hotel couldn’t do enough for you.

I visited this restaurant to watch the England game, and I was shocked by what I saw in the restroom. I witnessed someone pulling down a flag and subsequently being kicked out. It seemed like people were able to do drugs in the restroom without consequence.

Went there 3rd February, took the misses and baby, Around about 6:30/7 we all had carvery, as it looked nice and fresh , only like £8 for a carvery as well quite cheap , and the service was nice and the food was 10/10 , nice and hot as well, would highly recommend and I will definitely be coming again

I went to this restaurant on January 18th, 2024 for their 50% off mains promotion. I had a delicious, hot meal and was served by a well-presented young lady named Paige. She was very attentive and helpful. I give a 10 out of 10 to everyone at this establishment and will definitely be returning in the future.

I came here with my family of 6 and we all had brilliant meals with no complaints. The service was good as we has a lovely waitress; Isabel/Izzy.She was quick to get drinks and cutlery and even helped look for a lost phone (which we found).Overall we will definitely come again and I will recommend to other families.

good food .drinks and accomodation ....fiiendly and lively run well by manager steve so never any trouble or problem bar staff good efficient and helpful,,,,,,shannon is the hostess with the mostess lovely happy friendly she serves the best cocktails and lovely greeting to all big smile and mad laugh will make sure you have a good time ,give it a try

I work in the local area and come to The Swan regularly for meals after work etc. Whenever I come here the staff are always helpful and friendly, and the meals are always lovely and cheap, staff are happy to help with any issues. Adam one of the chefs is a lovely bloke, always says hello and is very friendly to myself and other customers. A real credit to the pub chain. Definitely recommend if in the area and looking for a nice warm cheap place to eat.
