"Torino is an excellent city for food… but the fare can be rather heavy on an ongoing basis. In the course of a week, we began to crave vegetables and lighter, brighter flavors. The closure of so many choices of restaurants on Boxing Day led us, happily, to Crudo. We went for both a lunch and a dinner, both excellent, hugely delicious, fresh, and with the brighter, vegetable driven flavors we’d been craving. A minestra of lentils and kale was a boon after a week of heavier meat, pasta and even heavy fish dishes. A perfectly seared tuna with charred bok choi tasted scrumptious and sat so well in the stomach afterwards. Both pastas and risottos were delicious, as was a stunning beet and daikon salad. The service was warm and unpretentious, the room simple but pleasing in a modern design… we could not understand the handful of poor reviews or the lack of more people in the restaurant. Oh well, Boxing Day. Perhaps that is the answer. But seriously, this is a terrific restaurant with a high standard. I highly recommend it."

The restaurant offers vegetarian options and is open to discussing vegan options. Appetizer came together with the aperitif. But after this early adversity everything went well. Great wines!!!

After a bad experience trying to get food it was nice to find a place that listened and worked with you on the Menu. Dairy and gluten free options available with a clear understanding. Some english menus were good and just nice people. Food was good.

From the moment we walked I knew we should have walked out! We were kept waiting with little acknowledgment , service was dreadfully slow and one meal came a good 10 minutes before the other thus meaning we ate separately. The food itself was lukewarm and ordinary. Not a great experience

always excellent cuisine and welcome. the delicious fried sea, almost perfect and not unified panatura. Always up. I will return to resume the pore and the agnolotti sausage as soon as they are available again because they are one of the best things eaten (they were bis for all and only the decency has prevented us to ask a third dish)

small tavern a few steps from the castle square, where you can have lunch outside that inside. typical cuisine and absolutely fresh and well cooked products. we had lunch with gnocchetti with sausage ragù and squid jumped into a very delicious pan. very kind and helpful owner to the needs of customers. good price quality ratio. Congratulations.

We came in here because the pizza place next door we intended to go to, wasn’t open. Seems to be the same owners. The staff were helpful and even though it serves meat there was a vegetarian and vegan section on the menu and an option for a vegan set menu. Was a little pricey and portions were small but the food was real tasty. A very pleasant surprise as we didn’t fancy walking around much more.

I ended up in this restaurant (which I hadn 't appreciated at first sight) back in winter 2017 and after a couple of hours walking in the rain to find a place of my liking for a vegan dinner. I recall an excellently prepared quinoa dish with mushrooms, seaweed and a few other veggies. The waitress so polite, professional and excellent english speaker. ..So nostalgic of the coziness I felt in the whole atmosphere of that place that evening.. Though not a fan of wine at all, I decided to give it another chance and had a glass of aromatic italian one which left me thinking I hadn 't actually smelt and drunk 'wine ' before.. Such a strong impression really! Updated from previous review on 2021-0...
