"we came a noon during our holidays and came back enchanted. staff are listening to clients and attentive to children. We have been served quickly, which is appreciable with children in the early age. The dishes are a real delight and there are for all tastes. we enjoyed the freshness of the products. to finish the frame is neat and warm. Too bad we can't take the restaurant in our luggage!"

"Flat dessert formula that agreed to me this noon. Dish of the day: Merlu fillet Serrano sauce accompanied by carrots and turnips. I added pepper to enhance my taste of vegetables. The fish was well cooked just like vegetables. Dessert: basque cake with cherry accompanied by a raspberry coulis? Very good. If you take chicken with basquaise for several people, it will be served in a factout. It's up to you to share. He was accompanied by a gratin of potatoes. Curious but the guests ate everything! Special mention for bread: really delicious."

"I had lunch here on Saturday 29th November 2014, with my 9 year old son (who is not vegan/vegetarian), and my eldest daughter who is vegetarian and slowly becoming vegan. I am vegan and both myself and my daughter find it very difficult to eat out because there are very few places that serve vegetarian food (omelette or salads are the usual choices) and I have yet to find a vegan choice on a menu. So to be able to eat at this adorable little restaurant and have both choices made available to us was terrific. It is a really quaint little establishment, tucked away down an olde worlde alley in centre ville. The decor is retro and my son was intrigued by the posters and various old toys on display. I loved the shabby chic tables, chairs and benches and the whole place exudes charm, warmth and friendliness. The staff were so helpful and always smiling, they spoke English and French, and the service was impeccable. Jess and I had the most delicious vegan curry with a glass of Bio red wine, followed by vegan cheesecake to die for! Jacques had a toasted cheese sandwich, which was not on the menu, but they did if for him especially because he is a fussy eater, and a big glass of Bio apple juice. Jacques especially loved the big wooden fork we were handed that had Good Karma written on it....this was used to go up to the counter to make our orders and for when I paid the bill. Just these lovely little touches went a long way to making it an extra special treat for us. The meal was very reasonably priced and I cannot praise this establishment highly enough. They are part of a small chain, family owned and run, and the next time I am in Caen I will be eating at Dolly's Restaurant and Pancake Night Fever as well, so look out for more reviews from me about these restaurants. Absolutely fabulous....anyone who likes delicious, healthy and ethical eating should most certainly dine here!"

"Beautiful cozy cafe. But the staff showed no interest. We asked for something for breakfast. We ordered a boiled egg with difficulty. The waitress had no ideas and neither did the menu. They ordered what they could point to. We ask the staff to be more interested in future."

"On ne trouve rien de satisfaisant aux Rives de l'Orne et on se retrouve par hasard devant ce restaurant très bien noté sur Tripadvisor et on franchit donc le seuil.On est accueilli par un serveur très jeune, agréable. Le cadre est sympa avec une terrasse très chouette à l'arrière du restaurant.La carte est alléchante avec le nom des fournisseurs, c'est très sérieux et les produits semblent de qualité.Je choisis une pizza et madame une galette. La pizza est bonne (boeuf haché, merguez, oeuf) et la galette pas à tomber par terre (saumon, poireau...). On choisit d'accompagner le repas avec une bouteille d'eau gazeuse qui nous sera facturée 6 euros. On prend souvent cela et là, je crois qu'on n'a jamais payé aussi cher. Dommage ! On attend d'être desservis car on est un peu pressés et finalement, le resto se remplissant, on a été un peu oubliés mais ce n'est pas grave. Bilan correct mais le prix de la boisson nous a un peu refroidis. J'ai choisi de mettre 4/5 car le terme "moyen" est exagéré."
