visited with my adult daughter we were once a year ago and enjoyed it at both places. the eating was good and the personal friendly and answered asking to the dressed overall enjoyed and would go again.

We always get takeout food from Curry Mahal , food is always excellent, best Indian food we’ve tasted, they used to be in pettswood and we followed to sidcup when they moved , even though we live in Bromley. My wife and I enjoyed an early two-course meal and a couple of drinks in a two-hour span. It was the perfect escape for a married couple. The Missouri chicken starter was tender and well presented. I tried the house recommended lamb Jimie Courie, which was mildly spiced and served with rice and potatoes. Congratulations to the restaurant for a fantastic meal. Thank you! This place appears to have changed hands. For sure the change of ownership has freshened things up. Really friendly and accommodating staff, and thoroughly delicious food make Curry Mahal somewhere we will continue going back to time and again. Also... we seem to go for dinner when a family had booked a birthday Karaoke night in there. Was a great laugh and made the night for us. New owners have ruined a great restaurant. I'm local and have been eating in and having take away for 10+ years, never had such poor service or food as tonight. The staff made several mistakes with our order, and when I took the order back they refused to accept their mistake despite the very clear evidence of completely wrong dishes! On top of that the food we did have was really poor quality. This used to be a great place to eat, but the combination of rising prices, poor service and now wrong orders means we won't go again.
