"I had a great experience at Bella Vita. The shrimp risotto and pizza were both delicious in the past. On our recent visit, I tried the chicken Caesar salad while my daughter had the Caprese salad. We both enjoyed our meals, and the portions were generous. The server was friendly, and we had no trouble getting a table for lunch on a weekday. I would give the food and service a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5."

"hursley needed a decent pub for the years, I found that the competition was a alienating atmosphere and the quality of the food was bad. since hearing the dolphin had new owners I felt that I had to test it, and I must say I am 100% impressed! and I am. said the pub will also be restored in the next months! first I visited with my daughter for a dessert with just us. we were greeted in the pub and our table shown. everything was very clean and my daughter immediately fell in love with the old building and history. the menu included some good clips for children, as we all know that they are with what they eat! eating was amazing! such a high quality and quite expensive. it was made clear to the house and there was no part of it I did not enjoy. the same applies to my daughter who cleaned her teller, and this is rare for her! ben, the manager was warm and friendly and checked for us, but was not intrusive. that can be difficult so I was impressed! the employees were so friendly and very interacting when they spoke to us, they went extra mile to take allergies too. If I were not a native, I would rent one of the rooms they have so that I could eat and drink with a short stolper to bed! if they were not, then they do not wait, the new owners also have the hunters and this is another amazing pub, so it is great to see that they know what they do and use local products and keep the community feeling of the village alive. I would have made more photos of the food, but it was too good to wait for photos! I'll take more when I'm next!"

"We Love this hidden gem of a pub in Romsey! The Menu is always exciting for regulars as the pub runs a rotating menu, so always something new to try. The Garden has recently veen re-vamped and there are a couple of lovely booths which are warm and cosy even on a chilly evening as they come with heaters installed! Another recent addition is the cocktail menu which we of course indulged in, the Strawberry daiquiri's were delightful! The pub is dog friendly and they will even offer your four legged friend a treat on arrival, if they are extra hungry, there is a doggy menu with dog friendly meals from which you can spoil your dog from, our Cocker Spaniel always looks forward to visits here! Parking: There are a few parking spaces out the frint and a larger car park situated round the nack of the pub"

"Great Chinese takeaway with a varied menu which has been consistently good! Since we moved to Romsey in 2012 we've been using the takeaways in the area, and for Chinese food we've found the Madarin Chef hard to beat. In fact when things opened up again post pandemic, our first take-away was from here! The menu is varied and has uk-chinese restaurant staples, together with less common dishes for those who want to go off piste. Where poultry sometimes feels like an unknown quantity quality wise in restaurants, here it has always been great with the Chinese duck tasty and not over dry. Vegetables in dishes don't feel like an afterthought and all in all we really like this place. The fried rice egg, special, etc) is always good and has the right amount of firmness for me as opposed to being made with new steamed rice. The staff are friendly and whilst I always order too much I'd like to say my eyes are bigger than my stomach, but sadly I can't pretend that's the case) that's on me! I love sesame toast but I probably shouldn't eat it all... Thank you to the staff and owners. This is a takeaway review so I can't in any honesty rate on Atmosphere My five stars are to avoid any negative effect). Parking: Lots of parking in front of the restaurant. I've never struggled to find a spot."

"My partner used to work here and has told me how badly he was treated. My experience however, as a customer, was dreadful, other than the one time I got a few drinks late in the evening on a weekday which was okay, the one time I tried to order food, was awful. Half my party when to order some lunch whilst my partner and I waiting for his mum to see what we would eat, not even t minutes after the two members of my party who ordered food had sat down with their food and my partner and I went to order food, we were told the kitchen was closed. The kitchen closes at 2pm (for lunch I believe) however the time we went up was at least 5 minutes before 2 which may not seem like much time but for half a party of customers to have been served and the other half not is very poor service. In the end, we had to make do with a few bags of crisps and some peanuts Kid-friendliness: Tiny little, seemingly old kid's obstacle course Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Parking space: Not sure"
