"Explained initially from the entrance on the road that seems to bring to a hotel, here is that welcomes the owner and makes us enter a beautiful and sparkling room accompanied by his staff. Tasting menu without doubt the perfect choice to understand the philosophy and hand of the chef, the fish is treated and exalted in a perfect way in every portion of it, tastes never turn out trivial, the always very well cared for, the dishes you see that they had a study and uncommon attention, a attention that his staff reserves with care and courtesy to every commensale, you feel really pampered in every need, and more important. Congratulations to everyone, you must be proud of such a place, you definitely deserve the michelin star. The customer can only be satisfied with this experience and path you make him do, the right prices for the fantastic quality offer of food, service and location. Congratulations!!!"

Best restaurant in sant’antioco by a mile! Fine dining. Seafood dominated, but good meat options as well! We will be back

First really great, tasty and in the right proportions. However it seemed very expensive, not even in Milan prices like this.

Italian food in a modern style. Food is excellent and atmosphere add to the overall experience. service is great and waiters who speak English which is an advantage in certain situations.

At the restaurant Achille, I had four entrées: smoked squid, swordfish, tuna and smoked shrimps. Then a super risotto with sea urchin and spinach, followed by tuna. I had four desserts, lots of water and wine and could almost not find my way home to my hotel.

We were staying at the hotel across the street and almost did not see this wonderful place with a small side entrance. Reservations are needed. Our appetizers of smoked fish and tempura fried see food and vegetables were perfect. The Rana Pescatrice (monk fish) was perfectly cooked. Desserts were wonderful.

This place is place to go. We were with your 3 year old daughter and the waiters really take care. The food are really researched and very good from the starter to the desert. The service is good even if the 3 lady's at the table near to us were kindly served from their bootle of wine and not us lady's special care? And the most appreciated, is when you ask for the wine they don't suggest you a price higher from your initial choice and the one served is good. All is said.

We had asked for an outside table so we were on the terrace on the side of the restaurant. We had a few bugs, but we had spray. We started with grilled octopus with beans and spinach which was a nice combination of flavors and textures, and large enough for sharing. For the pasta we shared the tuna in tomato sauce. The serving size was fine for sharing. For our entrees we selected the grouper and the Spada, or spade fish, which was new to us. We highly recommend it. Dessert was exceptional Pistachio ice cream, encrusted with crushed pistachios, with little cookies. They have a nice wine list with local wines at reasonable prices. Service was excellent, and the pace was perfect.

Heard great things about this restaurant and tried to reserve a table a few times with no luck! My friend&I finally managed to experience Achille’s food and WOW! We decided to share 4 starters, one pasta main and one dessert, all accompanied by a bottle of Karmis, for a total of €110 and 2 pretty full bellies. : Every dish was extremely tasty, beautifully presented and all ingredients in them fresh. Altough I enjoyed every single dish, I feel I should really point out the Tuna Tartare, I have never tried anything better! The raw purple prawns with a lemony sauce and the cheesecake not too rich and so delicious! I’d surely visit again and I’d surely recommend it to anybody! Keep up the good w...

"This restaurant looked completely unassuming from the outside. It is on the hillside approach to the Basilica from the town of Sant’Antioco, and like many places in this part of the town it can be easily mistaken for a private residence. However, it should not be missed as their seafood menu is delightful and the service super-friendly and efficient. The restaurant is normally open in the evening from 19:30. It has 3 regularly changing set menus, meat, seafood and mixed, that consist of a antipasto dish and 2 further dishes (normally some kind of pasta and some kind of main focused on one particular ingredient). Each of these menus cost between 35-45 Euros and you can add a glass of local wine for a further 3 Euros. I had a truly inspiring meal that started with a luxuriously tasty and herby prawn tartare, followed by a mindblowing blue crab salad, ingeniously served in the crab shell. I had never had anything like this before and it really did maximise every ounce of natural flavour within the crab itself, making for a refreshing palate cleanser. My pasta dish was a local tuna and gnocchi dish, rich with vibrant tomato and caper flavours, which made for a hearty and homely centrepiece of the menu. The final dish some how managed to trump all that had come before. It was, like so much in this restaurant, a simple looking affair, which hid deceptive depths of perfectly balanced flavour. It was a cold monkfish salad, that comprised of slices of fresh monkfish marinated in a olive oil, salt and thyme, served with sweet tomatoes, bitter radicchio leaves, crisp red onion and drenched in lemon juice. It was as delicious a dish as I have tasted and well worth the visit alone. The space itself is a roomy taverna, with very clean and bright decor. The owners have a disarmingly quirky eye for little decorative details, with curling light fixtures, that dangled from the ceiling like gourd fruit and walls festooned with spectacles and slightly off-centre prints. It gave the space a real fun vibe, which was carried through in the service that was personable and attentive without ever once seeming forced. All in all this is a place well worth a visit, even if you are staying on the Sardinian mainland."
