"Update at the end of May 2024 And once again we were very positively surprised, as always warmly welcomed by the boss, like all guests, whether new or regular, is not self-evident. I followed the house recommendation , tuna steak with vegetables and rice (I posted the picture , simply divine, I have never eaten such a good piece of fish grilled to perfection, unfortunately the quantity was so large that I only had half managed, which caused the boss to gasp, which of course was not intentional : . People ask for recommendation of the day and I 've never been disappointed. Update May 2024 We moved a year ago, what a tragedy, we never thought that we could miss a restaurant with such good quality so much."

"Nachdem wir zunächst in einem sehr hübschen Biergarten eines gut-bürgerlichen Lokals eingekehrt waren, dort aber nacheinander so schnöde von zwei verschiedenen Servicekräften angegangen worden sind, verließen wir das Lokal und fanden glücklicherweise das Ristorante Da Mario. Wir bekamen sofort sehr höflich einen Tisch zugewiesen und bekamen jede*r eine Speisekarte gereicht. Sobald wir die Karten geschlossen hatten, kam die aufmerksame Bedienung und nahm freundlich unsere Bestellung auf. Auf Anfrage zu verschiedenen Gerichten wurden wir auch ausgezeichnet beraten. Das Essen war vorzüglich, die „Gnocchi Salsa Aurora“ von der Tagesempfehlung sind ganz besonders empfehlenswert hervorzuheben "

"For the 25.12.2020 12.30 at Henrys ordered different dishes for 8 persons plus various desserts. You can only highlight the organization and praise it separately, when picking up the dishes, the kitchen was only 40 seconds in delay!! This is excellent under current conditions, DANKE. The dishes were tastefully very good, very large portions, which also affected the size of the nightish. The dishes were well packed and also well warm when eating. Even special requests were taken into account, all in all were and we are very satisfied and we would like to order again."

"This is by FAR the best Greek restaurant in the area! I strongly recommend to make a reservation, even if you are only going with 2 persons. They are mostly packed and on more than one occasion (we decided last minute to go we had to wait to get a table. They are open till 11pm, which we liked a lot, since we often feel like eating out at a later hour. The interior is nothing special, but the hearty welcome the owner gives you and the food they serve makes you forget about the lack of style. In the summertime, you can sit outside. You're sitting more or less on the pavement right by the street, which I don't find so nice. They built a fence around the seating area though, so you get at least a little privacy. They did the most of the location I guess, can't blame them. The menu is not as big as in most other Greek restaurants I know, but it has all typical Greek dishes,and Greek dishes only : Making changes to your order is usually no problem. The owners are total sweethearts, always friendly and very guest and service orientated. The food is simply amazing!!! The appetizers are great, I mostly chose the grilled pepperoni or stuffed wine leaves. Yummie!! For entrees, they serve all kinds of meats and fish with rice or round shaped fries. I love love love their Rumpsteak with Kraeuterbutter and fries. My mouth is watering just thinking about it lol They always managed to cook it perfectly to my order (medium-well My husband had tried several different dishes and was never ever disappointed with his choices, whether is was fish or any kind of meat. If you like wine but are not sure about their choices, tell them what you like and they will recommend a suitable one according to your taste. Ask if they let you try their recommendation, usually they do. For dessert, if you're not full yet, I recommend the Crepes...mmmhh I am a huge Hermes Fan and will miss going there for sure. This is one of the few restaurants I insisted on bringing friends, simply because I thought they HAVE to try their food : Oh, do not mind the background music ;"

"if you visit heidelberg I suggest you move a few miles and try this restaurant absolutely, as it is a real German experience. the dishes that I love most are schnitzel, fries and latezle. here they serve the wine of their vineyards and...you can also buy it, since next to the entrance of their restaurant there is their wine shop. the restaurant has outdoor seats is always full, so I recommend booking if you don’t want to wait very long. very beautiful the atmosphere especially in carnival. this restaurant is german and eating is simply delicious, especially suggest to taste their carvings, their pommes and the late zle. they serve wein from their own weinbergs and can even buy as they have a wine shop right next to the entrance of the restaurants. the personal is very nice and the place is always full, so i suggest to book if they don't want to wait too much. my favorite time of the year to go there is karneval, so if they happen to be there this day, they make sure to visit the besenwirtschaft reblaus."
