"This is a friendly family run Resturant. It is situated just of the main square. The locals eat here weekends so it is wise to book a table especially if you would like to eat outside. The menu is not large but extremely good. The pasta dishes are very large and the mains can be shared as these are also large portions. I had a salad which was enough for four of us. The house wine is very good value. The staff are helpful although and speak English."

Ottime le panificazioni con cui si accompagnano pietanze ben abbinate e buon vino per esaltare i sapori. Provate le strafocacce e i panzerotti non deluderanno. Servizio cortese e aria di famiglia."

"This little hole in the wall restaurant is a must! Not only are the staff so nice and welcoming, but the food is wonderful! You can order pizza by the meter with practically any topping you want! My favorites are tomatoes with arugula, sausage, zucchini and peppers, mushrooms and prosciutto, and even french fries (sounds crazy, but you have to try it, SOOO good! . I would suggest ordering a mix, which is perfect to share, so you can try all the different combinations they have! The restaurant is right in the heart of downtown Tolentino, so you can just smell the pizza as you're walking around! Its homey and welcoming, so next time you're in the neighborhood, you have to stop in!"

"Somewhat hidden down a tiny lane just off the main piazza of Tolentino is this gem. The space is really well designed and welcoming. Very old elements of the original architecture including vaulted ceilings have been preserved in the terrific restoration of the space. We love the look of the place. The hosts, Paolo and Nadia, are good, genuine welcoming people...they make you feel right at home. The restaurant has a menu that includes fish, and meat. The true soul of the kitchen shines bright on the fish side of the menu. One of my gripes around Le Marche is that lots of restaurants look the same and serve the same (old) stuff. This restaurant destroys that mold. Nothing here not how the place looks and not what the chef creates is anything like the same old stuff. The antipasto freddo/caldo just kept making us want some more, with each tapas like plate that arrived. Flavorful, creative, delicious dishes, one better than the other! I want to emphasize that the creativity here was not the crazy or pretentious kind of creativity you see in lots of places, It was good, honest creativity in the kitchen that manifested in terrific dishes by mixing flavors, cultures, spices and the like. The secondi we ordered included a perfectly cooked octopus dish and a baccala dish done in the hearty local style of the port city of Ancona. The wine list is great, including lots of sparkling wines and proseccos, including many of local production. We thoroughly enjoyed this meal great food, gorgeous location, terrific chef and lovely hosts. So, go to the piazza in Tolentino, face the bell tower and go left down the little lane...Il Santo Bevitore will not disappoint."
