Delicious lunch. Open early at 12:30. Beautiful view. Easy to find, just was you walk up the hill into the old town. Will come again!

we arrived in this restaurant very soon with respect to the canonical opening hours but despite being about 18,30 we were accommodated in general the kitchens open around 19,30) in a beautiful terrace with a beautiful view. the staff was very kind and we ate a delicious peacock and a great salad with a goose crispy bread! so we enjoyed a beautiful view a great food and courtesy of the staff!! thanks ps: even a simple dish like a salad is not said to be done well and with fresh ingredients!!

In Caserta, it is almost impossible to get bad food. It is an undiscovered gem that really prides itself on food amongst the Palazzo Reale. The service at Ristorante Da Teresa was acceptable and the waiter was almost robotic. Not a major issue when you consider other factors. The food was not acceptable. The pizza was boring and not tasty. I've had plenty of pizza in Casertavecchia and I didn't think it was possible to get bad pizza. We also had a pasta dish that was not very nice. Certainly not something I'd expect from a restaurant in such a prime location and with so much competition around. The views however, are amazing! The location is perfectly atop the mountain and overlooks Caserta...

I’m a bit surprised about those other reviews! I’ve eaten here over the years repeatedly and got good food and friendly service every time. This is a truly big place living of Italians that come up here from ugly Caserta to enjoy views the medieval borgo and traditional food. This time we came on a Sunday and although we only wanted a one plate lunch we got good front row seats, friendly smiles and excellent service before the place filled up with locals after one o’clock. We had a generous portion of scamorza alla griglia with prosciutto – more a meal than a starter; gnocchi in a rich creamy sauce with lots of cheese in it, pasta ala mama and even the plate with fried potatoes and vegetable...
