"We booked a large raw meal. 3 more starters 2 bottles and a small one from the well-stocked cellar 3 first courses including two lobster tagliolini The frying is amazing in its simplicity Sweet coffee and very fine rum always from the cellar The staff are helpful and courteous, the ingredients and menu are expertly crafted, plenty of choice and the whole meal experience was truly exceptional. "This is genuinely one the best restaurants I have ever been to! Just a step away from the tourist traps around the tower, and get a true taste of Tuscany. My partner and I chose to visit one evening and couldn't get a table as they were full till close. The owner was rushing around to make everyones evening perfect, but they still had time to stop and speak to us and we made a reservation for the next day. When we arrived for our reservation, we were seated outside on a warm evening and had one of the most amazing meals we've ever had. We started with the smoked burrata salad to start was to die for The gnocchi siciliana, and the local fish were perfect. I don't exaggerate when I say, this was the best meal we'd had on our Italy summer trip. If you are looking for authentic home cooked Italian food, do not go any further. Make sure to book to avoid disappointment, this is one not to miss when you are in Pisa. "What a gem of a find and please don't be put off by its external appearance. We were looking for somewhere to eat before checking in for our flight home. We found this place on Google and we weren't dissapointed. Staff were really friendly and seated us outside, as I had left our green pass info back in our car. We were the first to arrive for lunch but within 15 minutes all the outside tables had been taken. I had a meat platter to start which was amazing and my partner had the vegetarian selection. For my main I had the wild boar and my partner had the ravioli. Both meals were absolutely amazing, the taste and qaulity was fantastic. We also had the house wine which again was really good. Staff were really friendly and added to the meal experience. A real gem of a place!"

"We just arrived in Pisa and were delighted to have booked this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and patient with our lack of Italian! The food was delicious and the environment was perfect, a nice introduction to our weekend away. We were there for 48 hours and had lunch there on Sunday before we returned to the airport. My son and I had the best meals throughout our trip. we recommend La Corte di San Leonardo."
