One of the few places in Rome where they sell the Marriage Freres in enormous variety. It's worth it just for that alone. Let's hope places like these always endure Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The food is good but I don't know if it makes up for the unpleasant service, how long it takes to serve and, above all, the prices. You can have the same sweets and coffees in many other places in Rome with much lower prices. The only good thing is that it is covered and elegant. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

A cafe where there are different types of food, you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner, salty and sweet food and drinks. You can buy something sweet as a gift. I can't for the life of me understand the negative comments! By far, one of the most enjoyable stops on our most recent trip to Rome. Cannoli was some of the best I've ever tasted, and I know my way around a canolo! Superb coffee and excellent service. I really don't know what people are expecting. It's become an unpleasant place with disagreeable managers and what appear to be unhappy staff. I knew the place as a child and regularly returned whenever visiting Rome. Never again. They overcharge, cheat wherever possible and are rude and unpleasant. The toilets there are filthy. Just avoid. It's long standing reputation is now in tatters. It's very sad. I was referred to Dagnino after watching a travel show on a US PBS station many years ago and I always wanted to try them out. Dagnino was previously known for its assortment of quality savoury lunch items along with their pastries and coffees. From my experience this year 2024 March they seem to of eliminated their traditional lunch menu and only focus on simple sandwiches and pastries. I found the sandwiches to be subpar to what i can get elsewhere in Rome and the items were overpriced. The odd thing is the menu board in the foyer was extensive but when i went to order with the waiter he said many items on the menu are not longer available.
