My partner and I visited this restaurant last night, and we had the steak and wine special for £20. The meal was delightful, and the steak was cooked to perfection. I couldn't fault the place or the wonderful staff. Our waitress, Leanne O, was particularly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We’re already planning to return next week with my partner's parents, especially after hearing how much they enjoyed our experience!

My sister and I went out for lunch and found a table right by the window, which was lovely. The food was fantastic; I had the beef, and it was cooked just the way I like it. My sister ordered turkey and gammon, and she really enjoyed it as well. Everything else we tried was delicious and well-prepared. The service was excellent; we ordered pigs in blankets with our lunch, and they arrived at our table shortly after we sat down. They were cooked to perfection. I would definitely go back!

After waiting another 15 minutes without receiving my meal, I requested to see the manager. Strangely, as soon as the manager arrived at 3:50 PM, my food suddenly appeared. I found the manager to be very professional in addressing the issue, but by that time, my wife had already finished her meal, and I ended up eating alone. She offered me an additional drink to accompany my meal and also suggested a full refund, which I declined. While my meal was satisfactory and served at the right temperature, I expected it to be hot considering how long it took to be prepared. Given this experience, I doubt I will return to this pub.
