My lovely Son treated me today for Sunday lunch. What can I say absolutely beautiful and very tasty as always

An above average relaxed village public house. CAMRA real ales, good pub food with a very wide selection. Separate menu sections for light bites, starters, main courses, vegetarian, vegan, senior citizens, etc. Our first visit but it won't be our last. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

excellent village pub staff are so friendly and helpful. the decor is beautiful and the food service is excellent we thai green curry and mint and dumplings. they were both so delicious and well presented. followed by stick toffee pudding and custard and a beautiful chocolate brownie and eis also in free nizza and beautiful walks through the nature reserve, on the route to the sea we would highly recommend and cannot wait to go back

my wife and I visited this place around the teatime. parking is available on the parking lot. my wife had the chinese chicken curry with hand-cut chips, it comes with crackers or they could have torn off, or I had a bodega pizza that I swore to get a side order of chips as I wanted a gloomy, and the room for a jam pudding with custard. the whole food was excellent. I noticed other dishes on the menu I have to try back, but overall the food was excellent and the lady that served us was really nice and friendly

This village pub in North East England is excellent. It has a spacious dining room and public bar, as well as a good sized car park. They offer a wide selection of local beers. The food, while standard pub fare, is of good quality and reasonably priced. It seems like they use the microwave minimally. The pub is popular among locals and walkers on the Durham coast path. It is definitely worth a visit, especially for those engaged in outdoor activities. They are prepared to accommodate walkers and may ask you to leave muddy boots at the entrance.

Couldn’t fault the meal it was a great sunday lunch As for the service it was appalling first of all got a pint of lager instead of a shandy Then meal came had to wait for our cutlery, then they forgot the mint sauce an huffed about it My boyfriend had ordered 2 meats an only got one so had to tell them, they bought 3 small pieces of beef to us in a dish, which 3 does not go for 2 people I went and ordered a dessert and got charged again for the meal which my boyfriend had already paid for, 6 days later the £32 extra that I was charged is still not back in my account We won’t be using the place again

Walk through Hawthorn Dene with my wife and two dogs with the sole intention of a bite to eat and a drink or two. We placed ourselves outside as it was a beautiful day and I went inside to order. The owner and staff were good craic and we ordered two scampi and thick cut chips and mushy peas and salad for my better half. I also ordered fish fingers and petit poi’s for the dogs off the kids menu and explained that to the staff. The meal and service was top drawer and the dogs receive their fish fingers on a plastic plate. The meals were spot on as was the pub itself which is decorated to a high standard and we will definitely be back.
