Old tavern, right next to the first stone of Garbatella. Booking is almost mandatory. Typical dishes of the Roman tradition, well executed. Decent choice of wines. Very ugly figure. I organized a table and we found ourselves paying €50 each for a poor starter, 1 first course and 1/2 second course each. Cheap wine and a taste of dessert. Carbonara made with bacon. Cutlet with breading that was falling apart. In short, nothing special in terms of quality. I don 't go to a neighborhood restaurant to spend 50 euros. Cross up! €11 for a portion of PUNTARELLE...and I've said it all!! We went here for a lunch break during the week which cost us dearly. The quality of the food was average but the prices ABSOLUTELY not. I find it unacceptable to charge €11 for a portion of PUNTARELLE in a restaurant and, as if that wasn't enough, €1.50 per person for COVERAGE. Final bill €20 each for 1 first course and the portion of chicory divided in two. If it had been on the weekend maybe I would have turned a blind eye, but unfortunately not during the week and during the lunch break. Suggestion: the advice to the restaurateur is to review the prices during the weekly lunch in order to better attract customers who work nearby. Se...
