"We had promised to take our friends to Ruchetta for dinner as we had had fantastic meals previously. Our friends were so impressed they said that it is their new favourite restaurant'. The food was so delicious and the wines were wonderful. The waiter recommended...a wine we would not normally order and it was amazing. Another thing that makes this place so special is the staff always so friendly and they make you feel so comfortable. Can't wait to come back."

"It was a very busy Sunday lunchtime. We had a nice table for two near the fireplace (as requested). The service was excellent given it was so busy. The only drawback was that the food was disappointingly just warm rather then hot. The ambiance was spoilt because it was so busy and we could hardly carry on a conversation. We have made a booking for Boxing Day evening at 7.30 when I guess it will be similarly busy. Is there a quiet area you can recommend ? I am thinking whether we should go to the Warren House instead and which is closer to where we live. Your advice would be welcomed. Kind regards Ken Livet"

"Although my meal, in the end, was delicious, it was a torturous route to get there. Oh, and before I forget, I did send a message directly to the YR via their website ‘contact us’ facility on Sunday 24 Sept, but not so much as an acknowledgement which downgraded my review one star further. I have a dairy intolerance and telephoned in advance to check I could be catered for and was assured I could be. I ordered sea bass and was assured dairy free. It arrived covered in a sauce but again assured it was dairy free. I was suspicious so asked yet again and a second waitress went to “double” check. After a few seconds my plate was whisked away. I was with a group of friends but at no time was any one of us asked about allergies or intolerances. I could have been severely unwell and this is not just about me. I expect better. Room for improvement"

If you haven’t been, treat yourself you too will add this little piece of Italy to your list of restaurants to frequent. As always the service is...outstanding with a friendly warm reception every time you walk in, a bustling happy atmosphere and with traditional quality and exceptional food, if you love dessert this is a must! "Absolutely fantastic place to eat at. The place has a lovely vibe to it, and the tables were very clean where we were sat by the lovely waitress. The menu has a large assortment of foods with quite a few of the meals having a gluten free, vegetarian and a vegan options for those who need it. The waitress was lovely all round and was very helpful when asked questions. Drinks were swiftly delivered and so were the main courses which tasted astounding. The foods were well priced and had a good portion to them. I only managed to take a picture of my churros (which were also great) and I'll be hoping to return as soon as I can. Keep up the good work"
