Das Restaurant im Zeppelinmuseum

Being in the museum you are therefore stuck to lunch there unless you want to go out and come back. Food was o.k but hard to find anything but a full meal.

we ate here twice in our short stay in friedrichshafen. the service staff were very helpful and friendly, also with limited English. the view of the sea is excellent with good ship / boat watching as the ferry port is very close.

from the terrace in the second floor they have a magnificent view of a part of the harbour. the cakes are fresh and very tasty. the service is very friendly and inconspicuous. we will come back at any time when we are in the friedrichshafen.

We where table with all kind of requirement in terms of food. There where options for everyone. Food was tastefull, our South African red was excellent. A bit surprised to see a children presentation on the food but made table to have fun about it....Service was excellent and accommodating Go here.

It's a pretty cool location in the Zeppelin museum. Good German traditional food, well cooked, well prepared and great service. The views across Lake Constance are quite beautiful and watching the bustle of the ferries crossing the lake makes for an interesting vista while eating...on the balcony. Worth a visit.

beautiful ambiente and magnificent view over the lake in this restaurant above the zeppelin museum. a section over the cafés/restaurants on the promenade. the service was friendly and welcoming and eating and wein the best we had during our time in friedrichshafen. my partner... shuts off the set menu that was excellent. highly recommended.

This seemed like the rest choice for lunch before thing the museum. Nothing on the lunch menu was available, which seems a little odd. We got the hamburger sweet potato fries, which came in very large portions. One of the burgers was undercooked, but...otherwise tasty. The view from the outdoor deck, on an early summer afternoon, with a gentle breeze, was the high point. Watching ships coming and going is an oddly calming way to spend an hour. I recommend it.

It was a very hot day and I just stopped in for a lemonade and a sorbet with Prosecco to revive myself before seeing the rest of the museum. The service was very good, the view was lovely, and I wish I had been ready...for a full lunch because there were some very tempting items on the menu. I hope to visit again and have a full meal. Bonus: if you have a terrace table, keep your eyes on the sky: in good weather, you can watch the dirigibles heading out over the Bodensee!

I am very often about the years in this restaurant to the breakfast, lunch and dinner. perhaps because I love the airships, perhaps because the view of the sea is wonderful (there is a large terrace in the open), perhaps because we are in a historic building. (the sea station), perhaps because ferrying from the windows are seen. but the main reason is a small door leading to the zeppelin museum, a jewel for passionate people. the decor is inspired by the giants of the sky, the sorted and international and good quality kitchen, the informal and pleasant service, the price is correct. only something: in the evening it is sometimes sold out: it is better to book.
