Exzellentes Essen, exzellenter Service. Wir werden zurück sein. Nochmal. Leider ist es für Januar 2020 geschlossen. Wir freuen uns auf die Wiedereröffnung.

Good food. Lousy service. We had to ask for bread and butter and we waited almost an hour between the first and second courses. The staff were unapologetic about the bad service. This being Geneva the restaurant was very overpriced.

Very bad experience when you book for 8 nights and when you call the reception to have water they refuse and ask us to pay 15 swiss francs for a bottle of water . It’s a shame for a hotel with 5 stars to make this . I will never book in this hotel again Bad service Ver carta

Die Speisekarte war gut zum Mittagessen. Ich war sehr von meinem Karottenstarter mit Koriander gefunden, das Huhn gefiel mir sehr gut und das Zitronendessert war auch gut. Der Speisesaal hat einen Charme, es ist ein Speisesaal im Genfer Stil. Das Personal ist sehr professionell und nett.

Im Cigogne sind wir auf auf ein Lokal gestossen, das sich durch Charm vom Einheitsbrei aller anderen Genfer Gourmetlokalen abhebt. Es ist klein, aber fein. Der Service äusserst aufmerksam und was auf den Teller kommt von bester Qualität. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, wenn auch die höhe der Rechnung etwas auf die Freude geschlagen hat.

Booked as part of weekend stay at hotel. What a fabulous evening. The room is warm and the staff welcoming which is always a great start. Three courses served perfectly and could not have been more delicious. Living in a busy ski resort in France...where food quality and service very often leave a lot to be desired, dining here reminded us why we love coming to Switzerland. La cuisine est toujours aussi excellente et pleine de recherche en saveurs. Mais le personnel..... depuis le départ de l'ancien maître d'hôtel ça part en vrille. Je pense que pour avoir un sourire il faut le commander à l'avance et se le faire facturer. Le service est dédaigneux et mécanique. Bon, j'arrête là, mais rien que pour le personnel aussi frontalier, je ne recommanderais plus cet établissement. Dommage j'y mangeais une fois par mois depuis vingt ans :-(

Zu erst einmal zur Lage: top! Mitten im Stadtzentrum an einem belebten Fußgängerplatz. Der Service war durchweg freundlich, wobei einige Kellner deutlich überfragt waren und manches (vielleicht absichtlich) überhört haben. Hierbei handelt es sich nur um Kleinigkeiten, zum Beispiel das Servieren einer großen Vorspeisenportion, obwohl eine kleine Bestellt war. Trotzdem ist dies zugegebenermaßen etwas unverschämt und gehört sich nicht, vor allem nach 4-Maliger Erinnerung.... Das Essen war meist gut, wobei die Vorspeisen etwas mit Zitrone übersäuert, und das Carpaccio zu dick geschnitten war.Das Rinderfilet zum Hauptgang war allerdings ausgezeichnet und fast schon auf 1 Sterne Niveau.Fazit: Prei...

The hotel has nothing to do with 5 star, we booked it this time just because of the location, but regretted already from the first minutes of our arrival. The man who stands in front of the hotel doors and runs around in the evening to bring the luggages was also delivering small bottles of water that they usually put after making the room, I asked for and he told me that I should use minibar and I told at the reception that he behaves not like in a 5 star hotel unacceptably rude and incompetent behaviour, but young girl at the reception was same level incompetent and she said she will inform her manager. No one, no supervisor no so called manager ever got in tauch with us during several day... Ver carta
