"One thing everybody should know about Nice is that a lot of restaurants are closed on Monday, which is contrary to Paris in which a lot of places are closed on Sunday. My boyfriend and I (Parisians) did not know that, and we arrived to Nice on Monday. Trying to eat lunch was a bit of a challenge. We stumbled upon this place, and we were so desperate that we just sat down and ate. It turns out that we were really lucky, because this restaurant is a masterpiece. As Americans, we have a certain vision of France. The one thing that a lot of us don't know about France is that France is an incredibly diverse nation. This restaurant, in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in Nice, is a wonderful culinary lesson in the richness of France. They have a beautiful dish which I believe was called "The Nicois", but I could be wrong. It has a bunch of specialties from the region like Socca and stuffed tomatoes. If you are looking to taste the local cuisine. This dish is a fantastic summary of all of it. For desert, you also have the option of getting fantastic Crepes, because the owner is partly from Brittany. The name of the restaurant is actually the "Breton" language. In one of the best cities in France, you can taste specialties from two great regions. The man who owns the restaurant is the nicest man! He came out and talked to us about the food, Nice, and his roots from Brittany. The restaurant was full of locals and foreigners alike and everybody speaks English. If you are looking to have lunch in Vieux Nice, please do not miss this place. Like any other tourist neighbourhood, there is a lot of garbage, and sometimes it can be hard to know the good from the bad. This place is great! Please give this restaurant a try!"

Très bon produits, frais et très bien préparé. Une grande assiette pour déguster les spécialités niçoises au soleil en terrasse dans le vieux Nice. Très bon rapport qualité prix avec, en prime, un service souriant et chaleureux.

Attiré par les beignets de fleurs de courgettes de son enfance mon mari a choisi de s'installer. Bien lui en a pris. Très bon, pas gras (12€). Une bière pour faire descendre (3,50€). Une crêpe au sucre comme dessert (3€). En pleine saison au coeur de la vieille ville bravo. Servis calmement aimablement. Nous reviendrons.

Découverte grâce à groupon, une petite crèperie sympa en plein vieux Nice . A vrai dire les crèpes salées ne sont certes pas assez copieuses et un peu fines à mon gout mais bonnes quand même puis les crèpes sucrées un délice donc au final on se régale quand même!!! Le service est rapide et les prix sont très raisonnables!!!

In cerca di cucina nizzarda che non sia la solita, ci imbattiamo per caso nel simpatico proprietario, che ci spiega il mix di cucina nizzarda fatta da cuoco bretone..ecco eccellenza!Con un piatto avrete la migliore scelta di degustazione, come pissaladière, verdure ripiene, sarde ripiene, insalata, ratatouille e tanto altro! Ottimo poi presentare l'insalata nizzarda dentro una galette bretone, da leccarsi i baffi!Conto 16 euro :) Di sicuro tornerò per gustare le crêpes bretoni

There are so many cafes and restaurants in the Old Town, that you just have to take pot luck - and we were lucky enough to find this little gem! The owner's boast is that much of the fresh vegetables used here come from his garden, and they certainly tasted fresh. My partner had a plate of typical nicois delicacies such as pissaladiere, stuffed sardine, courgette tian, etc, and I had stuffed courgette flowers. We ordered some Breton cider that was charmingly served in tea cups. All in all, a great experience, and well worth tracking this place down if you can.
