"Had a 2 night stay here in October with friends, the rooms were fine, a bit on the small side, but clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with the restaurant in the evenings, every dish we tried, we found to be very good and...the staff were very helpfull and friendly. Breafast wad self service, and a bit chaotic as many guests arrived around the same time. Overall very good, try it!"

Unfortunately, Sunday roasting was served almost cold and we had to ask for roast potatoes missing from the dish. The viola wine was carved very thick, although a good taste had. Not the usual standard we expect.

this was found by chance when you introduced a country route from the cotswolds to cambridge. beautiful meal. 2 more watches. good choice in the menu. I had laughs and my man had whispers. faster service. very friendly.

Stay overnight. Food here is excellent. Wife had fish and I had the healthier steak and ale pie offering. Both were excellent. We were pleased to say there was also plenty of veg which isn't always the case at some places. Highly recommended

the three of us had a delicious meal earlier this month, a lunchtime. we had something else, the mushroom risotto, laugh at me the most delicious leber. all cooked for perfection and with delicious sweetness. great service. cannot wait to visit my niece, so we can go again!

was in the opposite for a business meeting and this place was recommended to us. eating was beautiful and portioned large and of a beautiful quality. the atmosphere was “ok” but a Monday evening. what gave this place 5 stars was the young lady who...we didn't get her name) but she was attentive and friendly at any table interaction that becomes less rare in this age. well done!

We've just enjoyed a lovely lunch here. The choice was great, the food couldn't be faulted and was beautifully presented. The staff were all very obliging, this was especially appreciated as we messed them about with the time, half of our party being one hour...late! The tables were well spaced out and we had lots of room, just as well as we exchanged Christmas presents and had a lot of clutter.
