"Booking handled quickly by email. Sat outside in a lovely courtyard. All tables booked, with people being turned away. Set menu was very good we had gazpacho with guards cheese and ham, followed by sea bass in a green and red sauce. Very tasty...and well presented. Deserts were not Lo calorie but very fruity sorbet style with pistachios. Wine by the glass was local and good on the palate. Emilie (co owner? and waitress was supported by other men who delivered the food Parking was available 75 yards away in a open public car park. A very good ambience. I would highly recommend"

"Je suis venue dîner mercredi 2 août avec ma fille et mon petit fils de 3 ans. Nous avons commandé un thon mi cuit aux graines et un thon mi cuit rossini, la cuisson était parfaite, la présentation ouvrait les papilles... un régal...Le dessert du moment était un tiramisu ...excellent.Le personnel est agréable et souriant même au moment du coup de feu et terrasse complète. Les enfants sont bien accueillis, leurs plats servis rapidement si on le demande pour les faire patienter."

"Chez Diem is the real deal! On a rather cold night we felt like a hot soup would be in order, so we visited this Vietnamese Restaurant in old town. You cannot drive to it as it is a tiny side street but an open parking lot is just 50m away offering plenty of spaces. I had the Poh with beef that came with short egg noodles in a rich broth. Bean sprouts, lemon and mint leaves were served on the side so one could add them to taste. The shredded beef was perfectly cooked medium well simply by adding it to the broth towards the end. My better half had the chicken soup with rice noodles and it came with slices of chicken breast in a nice chicken broth. Servings looked a bit small but since they were very heavy on substantive content they made a full meal after all. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended if you want original Vietnamese food while in town."
