"My wife and I always pop in here when down the Old Town, either to get a lovely salad box or usually for the Hungarian Salami and some nice cheeses. Richard and the girls are always a pleasure to talk to and nothng is too much trouble. They now recognise us now as we are there so much : . They have much on offer and we always end up buying something extra than we went in for! Excellent service, great staff and superb food. Well recommended."

"We visited for the first time this morning. We went for brunch and discovered that The Bake House has a remarkably varied brunch menu. We both chose from their loaded sourdough range. My wife had a veggie version and I had the Mexican version with added chorizo. These were substantial, to the extent that I commented to our server that when they say loaded they really mean it. Both were well presented and delightfully tasty. I couldn 't finish mine. The service was charming and the place has a wonderfully warm, friendly atmosphere. We 'll be back."

"What a wonderful place! We booked our table in the morning via their website inquiries for 5pm on a Saturday evening. They emailed us shortly after to confirm our booking, very hassle free and quick. We parked nearly at the local carpark and walked a few minutes to the restaurant. We were seated as soon as we arrived at the restaurant. We ordered our food and drinks, drinks came extremely quickly and the starters not long after. We ordered the spicy sausage, prawns and mussels as our starter. What can I say! The food was delicious, soft and creamy. I can honestly say this was some of the best starters I've ever had. After having starters I was more hungry than when I arrived at the restaurant in anticipation of the main course. The main course arrived shortly after we had finished our starters. The main course continued to hit the high standards of the starters. We had ordered the seafood risotto and the lamb chops. The lamb chops were juicy and tender, cooked to perfection. The seafood risotto was rich and creamy, every bite was full of flavour. Once we had finished our mains, we were so impressed that we ordered even more food. We ordered another prawn starter, the salmon starter, tiramisu and vanilla cheesecake with strawberries. The high standards continued all the way through the rest of our meal. The service was second to none! We were served very quickly and the host was very knowledgeable of the food and the menu. She suggested the best way to have the lamb chops. The host even noticed that I had a wobbly plate and rectified it immediately without any prompt from myself and my partner. She encouraged me to fully try the starters including the salad that I ignored which was delicious, I could not fault her service and professionalism. If you are ever in the area and get the opportunity to eat here, I cannot recommend this highly enough!"

"Friendly staff and welcome. Sat and left browsing the menu in the bar area with a drink. Shortly after our order was taken and then we were taken through to the dining area. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was lots.of choice on the menu and when the food came it was beautifully cooked and served well. They even have quite a good pudding selection for a chinese."
