"Yet again we arrived at Ribbles two years on from taking Eldest Grandson to Ribbles for a birthday treat. This time was the turn of his younger brother. on both occasions the boys (aged 8 9) asked for something not on the menu, and on both occasions the staff were only pleased to accommodate them. spending quality time talking to their young customers. On both occasions we, has a family enjoyed quality food, service and conversation. We live approx 45mins away but will be back again soon."

"I recently dined here with a group of my golfing friends to celebrate our ‘end of tour’. As this year’s winner I got to choose where we went for our meal and I chose here. This was based on a meal my wife and I had had a week or so earlier where we really enjoyed the food. I was a little nervous as it’s not the biggest of restaurants and there were 13 of us. However I needn’t have worried as everything went smoothly from being warmly greeted when we arrived to paying the, very reasonable, bill at the end. The restaurant is clean and bright, the service good and courteous and the food lovely. Portion size is about right and the food served piping hot on pre-heated plates. Everyone afterwards said how much they’d enjoyed what they had. I’ll definitely return to try some of the other dishes on the menu and wouldn’t be surprised if next years ‘end of tour’ celebration was here too. "Visited on a Sunday evening Mid December an once again, we enjoyed a tremendous meal with great service. The chef cooks the most incredible, unique dishes with myself and my daughter enjoying Chicken Sharama and my wife the Vegetarian Moussaka, following some gorgeous chefs bread to start. New waiting staff served us this evening and they were excellent. Our favourite restaurant in Yorkshire"

"After enjoying multiple meals at this restaurant, we decided to try their Sunday lunch. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. The pork was tough and impossible to eat, the Yorkshire pudding was rubbery, and the roast potatoes seemed to have been reheated. The lamb shank was overcooked and lacked flavor. Our complaint was brushed off by a bar staff member, who claimed that the manager was unavailable and that the pub was too busy to address our concerns. Our email to the pub was also ignored."
