Nice place, nice food. Good service. Tables are too close to each other but nice if not very crowded. Nice seafood :)

Did not Stand up to expectations. Aspargus starter was good, but maincourse Tunasashimi was way out, and steak only average. Service not what you expect from a Such highly rated restaurant. Ver carta

Die Bank Is definitely worth a visit, whether you want to eat or just pass by for a drink. The food is really good, at a very reasonable price. Impressive place, that are worth a visit. This time we were placed outside. Next time I will, prefer to sit inside again!

had lunch last week, 3 starters, very little portions.the burrata, had 4 tomatoes and no trace of focaccia seenburrata presented in a sort of explosion and torn aparti have had better burrata in italy where i come from.the main course was tiger prawns with pappardelle.4 prawns and packed pappardelle (box wise) without spreading them around in a sort of nest-rucola pesto not seen, but described in the dish compositionwine with screw closing. Try to get to a few restaurants every year for Schlemmersommer. A great way to try out new restaurants for not so much money. Die Bank is always an outstanding experience. Whoever put together the Asparagus Ravioli dish is a genius. The food is always of the highest quality with great presentation and the staff just add to the whole experience. Location is really an old bank so also on interesting place to sit and eat. Can only be recommended any time of the year

We had dinner here two nights ago as it was suggested by a local. The restaurant is a converted bank with tremendously high ceilings and a lovely feel to it. Die Bank has ambitions to position itself as a top restaurant in Hamburg. Surely, their prices are those of a top restaurant. Nevertheless, the food and indeed the service fails. We did not order the five course seasonal menu (32 EUR), but opted for individual a la carte courses. The food was average for a restaurant with such ambitions, not more than average. In particular the tagliatelle with chanterelle, which we both had, was disappointing. It appeared stiff and precooked, not smooth and tasty and the chanterelle were not gently but rather overcooked and wet.
