a beautiful little bistro with innovative ideas for eating. you can take a picnic orrery and dinner at the nearby Rhine river. the food was great and for one.

I chased myself here. on a business trip in Mannheim you needed to lunch quickly. owners made us two plates and arranged free table, very affordable and fresh.

Durch die durchgehenden Öffnungszeiten wird der Mittag etwas entzerrt, obwohl man schon Glück haben muss ein Tisch zu bekommen. Ich war in der Mittagspause dort und ein Mittagsmenü, Zigeunerschnitzel, Spätzle, Salat, Kl. Waaser und Espresso für 9.90.-, das ist top. Essen war gut, frisch, heiß, normale Portionen, Espresso heiß. Service ist nicht zu bemängeln. Toll ist dass auch der Chef (sehr herzlich und kompetent) mithilft und immer ein offenes Auge und Ohr hat. Gerne wieder auch zu mit Partnern/ Freunden.

Update: food still 5/5 I got to try the breakfast setup (the Paris one), very nice! Salmon was my fav, and then the small portions but abundance choices would fill you up in the end. The other thing i tried was their autumn specials. A pumpkin aperitif was okay. But the pumpkin flammkuchen was amazing. My friend also got the rouladen and said it was one of the best meal he had. Food:5/5 I ordered the lasagna bolognese (got myself a box of salad since it was a lunch time promo) and a slice of Frankfurt crown cake. The lasagna was superb, i liked it. Good portion, meaty bolognese, consistency of the the tomato as well as the bechamel sauce was great, and on the bottom there was this crusty lay... Ver carta
